 Coolness: 2604135 | they will dig a hole where the volleyball is and extend it for the whole area... but lower down... so the road is more up then the park... which means people won't see the cars...
they will destroy the gazebo and extend the park evenly to the road and fix up all the grass... they will rebuild a gazebo elsewhere and have it so people can hang speakers up and stuff... but that's going to happen last, in like 2 years... in the meantime we can work out to have the gazebo when it's done, but for this year and next year we can at least have another space... i like jarry, but there is too much activity there... angrinion is nice but not near the water... the east park is really nice, so i'm thinking about that... it's right on the water, docks, dance floor, mcdonalds and depaneur a 3 min walk, 50 piknic tables... and a stage... with fresh air... no other place comes close to being as nice... |

 Coolness: 38920 | I think we should really push for Mont Royal for future years because there's something so unique to have tamtams and the gazebo in the same park. I don't know of any other city that has that. It's... part of Montreal's culture ^^
Until then, I think I'm going to be at tamtams for the most part on Sundays, especially since I'll be dancing to electronica the night before. Blah! I wish I'd seen it last summer. |

I prefer Jarry since it's more conveniently located, if it's legit with the city and all, there should be no problem. Steph, *norms* are everywhere, deal with it. What tells you they're the normal ones though? I find it completely abnormal to forget who you are in order to comply. i find it completely abnormal to let what others think of you rule your life and that's what being a "norm" is all about. Unity within a strong sense of individuality is what society needs to achieve, sadly society fails and mass produces insecure jocks and bimbos... worse thing is, a whole lot of em are smart people that lack the balls to be true to themselves. Just, on sketchy sundays after a party, I usually prefer to have as few of them around as possible, but whatever, I can deal. Actually, on the other hand, sometimes after a party, it's funny to see them looking as us ravers with odd looks. Just depends on my mood I guess. |
