 Coolness: 66980 | Ban is rough, but then, it has a value too. I think the *temporary* ban is a good option for anyone that crosses the border of acceptable. It's sure hard to define what's of good taste, but I think there's a common sense on that matter... or so.
It's like that Jeff Fillion guy on quebec's radio. He fucked up good and too often. Got banned. People got pissed shouting shit about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is ridiculous when it comes to insulting and profanating someone else. My freedom starts where other people's freedom starts, and the other way around. If someone keeps a certain sense of respect in his speech, there's absolutely no reason to even start a discussion about banning. My opinion here. And it's not just about Blisss. |

 Coolness: 93495 | I like Bliss, and I find some of his antics funny. Granted they seem to get out of control from time to time, and he doesnt take rave-wave seriously at all, which kind of gets in the way of others trying to enjoy it who arent fans of da drama. Thats the problem...We're mostly libertarian to one degree or another on here, and its obviously that Bliss's activities have negative spillovers, while perhaps not to me or you, but definately to others.
If this guy was like Freezer, I would say give him warnings, and then suspend him, and then if hes still being disruptive, then ban him. But hes not Freezer. Hes obviously part of the scene. A lot of you know him personally. Hes a good DJ; and gets electronic beats going above ground, which does wonders for the perception and quality of people than move into the underground. It probably also inspires a lot of youngins. And his mixes are good. ALso, after that phase where he and host1 were at each other, he was really mellow and actually contributing a lot. I think Mickos set him off, when Mickos was all like "We need drama now that Jessee is gone" Bliss can be awesome to rave wave if all those involved with Bliss drama, and Bliss himself agree to mellow the fuck out. I vote no ban |

1- Freezer 2- Jesse 3- Lazer28 I can't agree with Bliss's ban and the lockdown of threads just because I'm affraid it would be a precedent to create a second ravezone or XVI where people get banned for not liking the site's opinion. Althought Bliss is extremely anoying and aggravating I don't think he crossed the line of the other three just yet. I skipped most of this thread but this is my opinion. |
