However, from what ive heard, the quality of rave was no where near 10$...so plz, continue on with the ranting. Shitty parties deserve shitty reviews, so people can say "wow, im never going to a rave that promoter throws." Promoters should be given props when they throw a good rave, and should be shat on when they throw shit ones |

But there is one thing I'd like to address : Can anyone tell me why this " well, renting equipment costs " bullshit excuse is still being used today ? If you are going to throw a party and you don't know renting equipment COSTS MONEY, you deserve to fail real fucking hard. It's not rocket science : if you don't have money to throw a party, DON'T FUCKING THROW ONE ! What is so goddam complicated about this ? I'm sick and tired of "giving a chance" to first-time promoters who mess up like crazy and beg everyone for forgiveness. Plenty of first-timers got it right on the very first try because they did their HOMEWORK correctly. And I don't want to hear that "we're new to the city" shit either. Know what ? Again, do your fucking homework, survey the scene a bit FIRST, get a feel for what's going on in town and find contacts that have been throwing parties for a while now and can offer your great advice. If you prefer not to do that and think you're the shit and don't need help from nobody, local or otherwise, and you're party fails, you only have yourselves to blame, period. Besides, who the fuck uses their own last name as their production company name ? |

It cost me 10$ Everyone was happy. Music was excellent. No art thieves. No bitching. In an after-hour location, to boot. So I'll back V2-1 with this. The "renting equipment costs" thing is weak. Others have done so much more with the same cover charge and you don't see them moan and tell us to shut the fuck up. :D |

 Coolness: 68360 | I attempted to throw a party once and then tried it again never again...I am not good at it as far as i knew i was doing it right but soon came to understand that um not really...So either u got the power to create a good event or u don't in my case hahahah not so much and NEVER did it again.
and other peeps well hey they do it over and over and it gets better and better...So let the guy try another party and if it fails then he will know that he isn't good at this type of thing . U have to fail before u succeed and if he doesn't succeed the 2nd time around well then no more parties...On to the next project! I learned that i shouldn't do parties that is it..I just don't have what it takes... I have been to alot of parties and dj'd too and bartended and used to be a flyer girl i did it all i knew what went on behind the scenes just didn't have what it took...I knew what all the elements were trust me! Unfortunately, not every one seems to be imbued with that power so it's safe to say the possibility of many more crappy events is present before he "gets it".
