Kinda reminds me of the time Teebee was supposed to be at Circus and the promoter knew at least a week in advance, but told no-one anything and we had to find out when we'd gone in and payed that the act we came to see wasn't showing up. |

But you insult the local promoters who were trying to do something cool for your scene (who've also found a replacement) because you didn't find out fast enough 3 WEEKS before the party Like I said I wonder why they bother with the dnb scene, there's no respect and way too much drama with you guys. That being said, massive respect to Picnik for all the amazing artists they have brought in, and will continue to bring in. Yeah, that's why they booked Noisia (a 95% HARD DnB act) to play an electro/house set and not a DnB set, because the recent FabricLive mix had a short part that was electro/house and they figgured that they "softened" their sound.. And from what I understand, it's not so much that THEY booked Bad Company UK to play DnB at their event, but that BCUK is what the booking agency replaced Noisia with for the North American dates that Noisia were supposed to play at. |
