 Coolness: 103270 | So as most of you know since last Feb EZBAKE events have been happening at Les Pas Sages 951 RACHEL E.
Well after the last one I was informed they were no longer available for our bi-monthly events. Fine that is part of the game, not the first time, and certainly not the last time I have lost a venue. When I asked why and what was the issue, and tried to discuss it with the manager, i was brushed away with him saying "Si on t'as rien dit avant on te dit LA" end of discussion. So anyway last night I run into the manager again, and tried to discuss a little bit more in depth the why / what and howcome of them closing us out. At one point I said "mais Pinneault, c'est pas normal les affaires Jeckyl n Hyde de meme" As if on cue, somethin in the boy snapped, he turns to me, and shoves me first out of the entry to the dj booth, one more time into the door, a third time onto the landing, and a fourth time onto the street and proceeds to start SCREAMING obsceneties at me in front of at least 20-30 patrons outside smoking....Now I maintained my cool, and calmly stated, shit man you got a lotta rage, and after another barrage of obscenties held my head up high, said man you got issues and walked off But today I am fuckin pissed! Fuck it....dude fucked up the moment he decided to drop professional decorum and lay his hands upon me. Here is what I propose. The entire time I worked there I always asked my guests to be respectful, no markers, no tags etc. So this is a call out to all writers and taggers out there. This place has a LOT of nice white walls in a highly unsupervised bathroom area in the basement. Mark it up yo! Pull out your ink and bomb the fuck outta this place. Day after day week after week...Always quite a few people in there on Fridays and Saturdays easy to walk in and out inapercu! There area also some nice white walls outside on Mentana, but I don't suggest trying to hit them with cans, there is a cab stand right beside it, and a poste de police on the next block... There are also 3 huge windows 2 on mentana 1 on rachel for any of y'all that do acid burns! Fuck Pinneault, Fuck Les Pas Sages...... Fuck that place was also my favourite local tavern too, and I still love the staff, too bad they work for a bi-polar, aggressive fucking douchebag! |

 Coolness: 150475 | Damn, Craig! I always thought Jean-Seb was a bit of a prick, but I never would have thought that he would go as far as pushing you out the door! What a fucking asshole! Not only that, but one time I asked about your events, and he spoke quite highly of you, so I really can't understand his problem.
This is pretty bunk, too, because I was going to go over there on Wednesday to talk to him about promoting an event with a friend. He told me a few weeks ago that the place would be booked during the holiday season, but he seemed open to the idea. So, this doesn't seem to make much sense. I'd bomb the shit out of their bathroom for you, but... I go there quite often, and I'm pretty cool with most of the staff. However, should the day come where Pinneault does that to me, you can be sure as hell they'll be investing in a lot of white paint. |

Hit him in the wallet where it hurts most, encouraging people to vandalize his property isnt gonna prove anything. I say be a man and retaliate where it hurts, dont let him push you around. |

and I don't personally know any of these eye witnesses. I'd rather organise a proper boycott of this space as a whole, and fuckin up the walls, still hits him in the wallet where it hurts! |

Man, wtf ? Is that how he deals with problems at his bar ? If he were to have a dispute with UniBroue over beer prices, would he kick the supplier to the curb as well ? If so, I wonder how that place is still opened. |

 Coolness: 685605 | On top of the obvious "trash the white walls of the bathroom", might I add a few suggestions?
Epoxy everything that moves. The flush mechanism of the toilets, the lids/seats, the faucets, the light switches.. Epoxy tends to have an (at most) 5 minute drying time, and has to be mixed.. But what you can do is add some denatured alcohol (HAS to be that type; regular "medical" alcohol has too much water in it and it'll affect the strength of the epoxy and make it more brittle) to the mixture.. like, in advance you get a large-ish, empty syringe, "inject" your epoxy from the dual-syringe that it comes in, and put in some alcohol before mixing it together.. you should have 10-20 minutes before it dries.. Do this right before going into the place, and you've got the added bonus of having an easy-to-use syringe to make sure it gets into all the nooks and cranies.. Empty some down the drains of the sink, too, to make sure they have to replace the pipes. once you've epoxied the flushing mechanism, dump some plaster/cement/whatever mix into the toilet. THEN epoxy the lid to the seat and the seat to the bowl. |
