All I'm saying is that nobody likes well...I'm not gonna go out on a limb to insult you. All I can say is that I'm pretty sure more then 75% of people know who dj clown is at a party, where as maybe 20% might know who you are.

I highly doubt that

BTW Clown choose to be unprofessional and attack me. I responded with a joke

End of story
I'm feeling like a million bucks right now..

those guys did do some sick stuff back in the day... Julian Liberator and DDR even cut a record for the Crapshoot label!

Anyhow... it all comes down to splitting hairs when you're talking about degrees of mainstream and underground in techno... and while there's an argument that techno is no longer underground because people have heard of it, I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit... because there's are plenty of things out there that most people know about - but that doesn't mean they're involved in them. Besides, the 'underground' label is mostly applied because the term techno has been so poorly co-opted by the media and record labels and has been used as a blanket term to describe pretty much anything that uses synthetic drums.
I'm feeling new records right now..

not just the drums, either. I remember at a house party I was at 8-9 years ago, someone complained when Mr.Crowley came on, because it was "too techno", refering to the synths in the intro.
I'm feeling fucking horny right now..

when will the madness end!!!

So you probably missed Clown starting some beef with me,

Which I found extremely unprofessional on his part,

So in response I kinda made fun of his name, well actually all I did was call him Clown.

BTW I've never heard of the guy and I don't know what scene he claims to get respect from

Judging from the mix I heard by him he seems like a debutant dj who dosen't know much about music

Your right though, I'm hoping the madness will end soon

So Clown, I'm sorry if I made fun of your dj name after you insulted me for no reason

You can stop crying now

There you go, problem solved, good guy wins again :)

Sorry, BLiss, did i hurt your feeling by telling people the truth about your bad mixing ? i can't believe you keep referencing to my skills behind the deck's (whether i have any or not) after listening to the first track in the mix.

and i didn't insult you in this thread or in any other thread.. your the one being cocky. it even prevent's you from reading straight. (see above quote where you think i'm complaing in a post written by someone else, hence NA). BTW, what's so unprofessional about expressing view's on a mix in a very professional manner ?? your once again the one who became all un-professional about it by pretending to post a review of my mix.

Bliss like's to think he's better than everyone. I told him he sucks.. i guess he lost sleep over it and felt the urge to tell me, and everyone else that i suck too so he can suck less.. end of story.. still doesn't change the fact that he posted a mix i found bad.

(as for everyone else) please stop compairing me to bliss as i don't want to be his competition and he seem's to be getting off on it. This isn't a race once again and there are NO WINNERS !! there's no right or wrong way to do things in this scene (well, there are maybe wrong ways but still).
I'm feeling hot n spicy right now..

This may have been true circa 1999...but we all know that normals use "electro" now to describe anything that doesn't fit into the drumkit-bass-guitar-vocalist mold.

"Oh. My. God. Guys have you heard this autechre stuff? It's like intelligent-electro!"
I'm feeling focused right now..

Out of all the styles of electronic music,

Techno is definitely the most boring and uncreative,

Huuuuuh
I gotta admit Techno IS repetitive. That's why it's a style that needs a DJ to mix it up : The creativity comes from the Dj that mixes the sounds together to make ONE SINGLE track of 1 hour with various sounds and various moods....not like other melodic styles like Electro House that just...switch the songs at each 6 minutes and let the other song play for an another 6 minutes. (IN GENERAL, no offense to electro DJs). But to say it's uncreative...wtf are you talking about O_O???? In techno, it's freestyle, without doing whatever : you can mix 2 songs together even if it's been 1 minute that the first one is playing. Want a good example of it should be? Listen to Adam Beyer's Stockholm Mix Session 03, the white and red cover one.

My def of Techno is really large : Goes from the Detroit Tech/Minimal Tech at 125-130 BPM to Schranz at 155 BPM at whatever that is in the middle like (Hard)Acid Tek, Swedish Tech, Electro Tech, PsyTek (Thanks to clown for compiling a great psytek CD like Rewired ;) ) and even what my friend Mattwood calls "BattleTech" :P

And just for your records, there's melodic techno like of course Detroit Tech that's defined by Minimal with melodies or even the nu school hard tech, most of it has electro sounds and melodies. Just go on [ www.trackitdown.net ] and listen for yourself.

Now I'm waiting for the worst..OMG!!! I MIGHT BE ATTACKED BECAUSE I RESPONDED TO THE GREAT BLISS! (whatever)
I'm feeling pudcheveux! right now..
