Why Do People Still Think Techno Is Underground?

 Coolness: 129690 | Recently I've been bumping into all these techno djs who tell me they play UNDERGROUND music,
I'm just wondering what exactly is "underground" about a style of music that everyone knows, That went mainstream in the 90s, And is used all the time on tv and the radio, I mean even my 80 year old grandma in the UK knows what a techno beat is, And thats hardly underground Any thoughts? |
