I bet id be able to mix too if at 24 i would have skipped college and would be self-employed like you ( read un-employed ). As for being a noob, my first rave was more than 10 years ago, since then i went to partys in New-brunswick , P.E.I , Nova-scotia, ottawa , toronto , vancouver , new-york , san-francisco , portland , las-vegas , L.a , Paris , Mexico , Cancun , Accapulco etc... I was creating art on a computer before you hit puberty... if you think i suck at it well.. that may be because i stayed in school and have tons of other talents and interests. Jack of all trade master of none ? maybe... but my hourly wage as an electromecanic is 21.45$ and i work 40 hours a week... mix that up your ass and filter it trough your childish ¨ghetto wannabe¨ mindset suburb boy. ps: your mom called she said your room is messy again and your new curfew is early. and what the hell is i CAN produce circles around you means ? are you saying you can get people to jump me ? |

It seems any thread with drama in it somehow involves you, I understand you standing up for yourself when people talk shit about your mixing, From what I've heard you spin it's not bad at all. And while Dakurv wasn't exactly using constructive criticism, you should just say whatever. It's one guy out of how many that heard that specific set. Like you said, maybe he was all fucked up... welcome to the scene, most people are.
As for you Dakurv, maybe you didn't like his mixing that's your opinion, you don't need to get in his face about it, you could have simply said "Personally I didn't like that set" instead of making a straight on attack at the guy. So what, you didn't like it, obviously he's doing something right, Everytime I've been in Montreal I hear he's spinning somewhere, I've never even heard your name spoken, never mind on any flyers, if he wasn't doing a good job he wouldn't keep getting booked. Seriously, both of you guys are acting childish. Neither one of you needed to start talking about your personal lives and money, yet both of you did it. | Coolness: 29335 | My goal is not to get my name on flyers :) it never was... I like creating music and coming with what i hope to be unique/new sounds. Im more interested in getting my music in video games and internet movies than ego tripping while playing mp3s to a crowd of 12 ( cough cough ). I am not from the ¨rave¨ scene... i never created music for raves or partying, im into creative arts. I released music under SEVERAL names during the spam of 14 years and most of what i created was never released ( sat on my harddrive for me and my friends to enjoy). Im not in it for fame or EGO tripping like what most people here seem to be in.
I made music for some Australian video game that was bought by the governement to teach kids how to type faster... im played all over Australia ;) I also made my own freeware video game that had great success on the internet. It was even included in east-european pc mags. You have to understand that your ¨local scene¨ is such a fraction of what electronic music is, or what music is for that matter. And i never said he was HORRIBLE !? i said the transitions could be better.. i liked it.. the music he played was good and i think its whats important. He is not a bad Dj AT ALL, nor a bad aspiring producer. Its getting an attitude from a dj who plays to a crowd of 12 and think hes the greatest thing to ever happen in montreal that bothers me. 12 persons were whatching you buddy , 200 000 or so was at the jazz festival that day. You understand relativity ? beggers in the streets have more audience than you. Step down that pedastal and come party with us ! deep down we like you. Honestly i really hoped this would be over ( i was childish i admit) Also knowing you have a kid and everything... im sure you have better to do than posting angry board messages to weirdos like me right ? |
