I agree, just don't pay, you have no idea how many people I know who get a cell, run up a huge bill and just never pay.
if you can't get them to nullify the bill, let's be honest, you can't afford 1300...
you're just going to have to explain why your credit is so bad each time you want ... credit ... and prolly won't get much. But hey in the end that's a good thing

..you could also just point out that you took unlimited and weren't told it wasn't available on your phone.. If they bitch about it, there's definitley someone you could complain to. At the very least, you could try and contact a newspaper or something public and tell them about it. The threat of something like that going public will make any company cave in and have them eating out of the palm of your hand.

ha but no seriously... I had a friend who had a problem with bell like that, they seem to "accidentally" fuck things up. You basically gotta make it seem that your seriously gonna do something about the bill. If you have unlimited downloading on your bill and your paying for it then you have a really strong case against them. I'd fight just out of principle.

and yeah actually if that doesn't work then send your mom...

i have the same phone
i have too much experience workin g for cell phone companies{ as in more the 1 )

the $7 unlimited mobile plan offered is only compatible with no pda phones using the wap browser.
what you should of had was the windows mobile plan. blackberries can only be put on a blackberry data plan and pda like htc,moto and palm trios have to be on windows mobile 6.0 data plans
So in conclsuion this isnt your fault this is an error in bells fault and you should not be liable. It is there responsiblility to know beforehand there products to put you on the correct one
If you had a phone like the razr, krzr, lg shine or something of that sort then the unlimited data would work for you

You may of paid for unlimted but its not compatible with your phone model. sorry. so call them back bitch at them that you were never informed that this isnt compatible, that you shouldnt of even been right fitted to that plan. and id demand some sort of reasonable (dont ask for the entire farm) for this mix up because the stress in having to deal with the calls and shit is gheyness im sure

but for this tell you WILL NOT pay simply because if they set you up for the unlimited thing when they knew what phone you had, that's definitely setting you up for a fall. bullshit if you ask me, just when you speak to them, don't take no for an answer and constantly ask to speak to a supervisor. all customer service drones have no sway and arguing with them is pointless.

BINGO ! Like Reggie said, call their retention and CALMLY explain to them what you said. You should be able to get some resolution this way.

YOu can pay what like $200 to get outta the contract, and cancel forever.

They stand to gain more to keep you than let you go to a competitor, you are in the right here, get retention on the line!
