I mean, this format is already flawed in that it is physical media, the future is clearly network based media. Not to mention that another technology (before network media becomes too evident to avoid) is going to come out like next year, which is when Blu-Ray would just be settling in. like wtf is wrong with executives of entertainment companies? Why must they be so daft and uselessly naïve? whatever |

i think blu ray is gunna go the way of the laser disk. exept that the laser disk was acctually an inovation for the time.... i really don't think there is anything about this new format thats worth it at all. why the fuck are ppl gunna buy this crap? cuz it costs more? like c'mon... going from vhs to dvd was a revolution.... and not to mention cheaper. i remember paying 3-4 bucks for those 60min. tapes yo!!! right now the companys are just looking for something to sell. honestly... i'd rather them just give me some sort of usb player at this point.... |

I could plug an expensive blu-ray player into it, if I wanted it to cost me half the cost of the projector itself... OR plug my laptop in and play anything... games, movies, tv, porn... more porn...

What, they had to make it about the United States and Iraq somehow, but that really had nothing to do with the movie... and then there was that priceless scene at the beginning where the racist American tells the Spanish soldiers (who snuff it later) to "Speak English"... such a pile of shit. a chip or a card or a usb will always last longer than a disk, i have nintendo games that are almost 25 years old they still play...i have play station games that are 5 years that don't... |

Well the Transformers NEVER did make much sense... like the whole shrinking and growing thing (a tape player or gun that transforms into a 20 ft high robot?) or the uselessness in transforming into vehicules on their own planet (at least on earth it enabled them to live among us unoticed). Sometimes you have to suspend realism and just enjoy the ride. If you want realistic sci-fi, just see Alien. |

 Coolness: 685580 | It makes you wonder who's stupider; people who enjoyed the Transformers movie for what it was; a fast, loud, entertaining movie with jaw-dropping special effects (the single best use of CG since Jurrasic Park and Terminator 2 imo), or the people who were expecting an inteligent, introspective analysis of the human condition with a twinge of Shakespearean tradgedy out of a movie based on an 80s cartoon about giant robots from space that transform into cars, planes, guns and radios that fight each other in a millenia-long war for cubes made from a fictional energy source. |
