Asking For An Introduction To Electronic Music Venues In Mtl

| Hi all and everybody: I'm a newcomer.
I'm looking for your knowledge to get introduced to MTl's nightlife concerning electronic music.
I like deep house, ambient, easy listening, IDM, german techno, hardtekno, hardcore,...
I'd like to know good bars (where electronic or alternative music is played) to go to on weekend nights.
What would you advise me for a start? Which bars/clubs are your best picks regarding music style, atmosphere?

Even though there a tonnes of raves n' what not going on in Montreal, it's not very often that you'll find pure techno parties, or bar nights. But, keep an eye out for anything involving NTK crew if your looking for Hard Techno. I can almost guaranty that you won't be disappointed. |

| ok no problem, I 'm gonna start browsing the scene here, and of course I've heard about the Neurotik crew, and I like outdoor parties a lot. In fact my request was more about cool bars in downtown Montreal, so I'll check stereo then and will be keeping an eye on calendars and stuff... |

| My roomate told me about "le salon de daome" [ www.lesalondaome.com ] which seems to be a bar where fashion & commercial techno may be not played too much: so I'll check it out soon. |

| Salon Daome is chill. A medium sized apartment converted into awesomeness.
It had a good vibe, and chill crowed. Good beer prices and a good music.
Go there on Tuesday if you want to see what it's all about. |
