| I started party in clubs me too, at Aria in 2002. Im not the only one here; Synn, candyraver, party_Girl, Spinner and his gf...just to name few and I think we well adapted to the underground rave culture. So I dont see why some people need to judge about this, whatever if you're a underground raver or a party people from the commercial, that wont make you nicer or better, its the personality that count.
@Trancebitch, If your bf make good set, promoters on the site can book him. He just need to make an account and post his set on [ rave.ca ] I also encourage you to try a couple of our underground raves, we had trance events too(Like Rewire 4) but you'll see, that the vibe and the atmosphere are somewhat different but intense and friendly. You need to discover by yourself to understand...But you wont regret it, thats for sure. |

| I've wanted to go to and underground rave for a while.. all i've tried are either big raves... I used to go to aria as well until it closed... and now stereo has a trance event once a month but thats pretty much it... anyway like i said b4 as long as i can groove to it i can enjoy any type of music |

| not all trance is all melodic and vocal... I like melodic and vocal also.. it brings u up and gives an amazing euphoric feeling ( especially on e). Then you can tear it up on the dance floor with progressive and hard-trance... It's full of energy!! |

| mostly drum and bass and hardcore, hard acid, dubstep is growing on me more and more, breaks.. Pretty much, if you'd hear it at bal en blanc or black and blue, it's just soul-less, over-comercialised crap. The only trance I can "love" is trance-and-bass (which you can get a great example of by downloading THIS set) |

| what I like about trance is that it's not the same repetitive beat over and over... I love when there's a crazy build up followed by and booming climax and an insane beat. It takes you on a journey! lol |

| trance is so totally repetitive.. Especially the beat! You're never going to hear a trance beat that's not a 4/4 kick acompanied with a major or minor chord progression for the lead.. In stuff like drum and bass, sure there's a lot of repetitive stuff and similar beats, but there's a lot of DnB that's pretty much specifically going against the grain and making the craziest and wildest drum paterns you could imagine. |

| I don't know, to me trance is such a wide term, as much as "techno". But there are not much epic trance fans in the underground partys, more into the fields of techy stuff (ew to me) or psy-trance.
Damn, I've been following my man into so many happy parties lately that actually I don't even know what the other crowds look like now!! Anything else still playing but electro, psy and happy?? |
