there are different types of psychological practices psychodynamic psychotherapy is wonderful. takes techniques from a variety of sources, rather than relying on a single system of intervention while paying quite a bit of attention to your/the patients unconscious motivation. it's good stuff. tons of "sane" use this resource - often big businesses adopt theis practice into their own offices to aid their employees mental health by teaching them effective coping techniques (ie: stress, anxiety, etc.) also, most often they also do not believe in medicating - instead looking at things more holistically. yay, the end. |

heavy divorce led to family sessions, so I just kept going to see him. Helps me somewhat, but it only works if you let it. Holistic and all that shit works, if you believe in it. Kinda like peter pan. Lots of days I leave there thinking, wtf? He didn't help me at all, other days I leave there looking like the Hulk, and sometimes I think of sandwhiches afterwards. It all depends. Therapy can be a bitch, especially the real kind. Leave it to the doctors there Sabi, don't wanna go messing peoples lives up now would we? |

and have too little an attention span to have read anything past the hot lesbian action. but i'll put my 2 cents in anyway... ain't nothin' wrong with a little swingin... but, if you want your boyfriend to let you have sex with other girls you have to at least offer to let him watch. if you or the other girl involved doesn't want this to go down at some point with him at least jerkin' off on the side lines. somebody is clearly in it for the wrong reasons and the whole situation needs to be rethought. my 2 cents. |
