the gouvernement controls the health systems.. the gouvernment collects tax money on every cup of coffe you buy.. i don't like facts..

just think about it. Some people tell themselves that they can't function in the morning without there cup of coffe.. is that normal?? didn't think so, and that's why i'm anti coffe..

I can function without it easily. I just choose to ingest crazy amounts of it because I like the feel and, more important (for me), I love the taste.

And yeah, I agree that the govt. controlls the health system, and taxes, and a shitload of other things. But if that's all you use to decide what you shouldn't do, then you're leading a pretty boring life. Food has to pass certain quality tests before it hits the shelves. QUICK! Stop eating! You're suporting "The Man" and what your eating will PROBABLY KILL YOU because THE MAN aproved it! THE MAN is 100% bad, 100% of the time! THE MAN never, EVER has your good intentions in mind! EVERYTHING that THE MAN says is just an attempt to get you to take something that'll kill you and make a quick buck off of it!

[/rant]

now stop being a paranoid delusional freak and experience life just a little more. Taste things you've never tasted before (within limits. I don't recomend tasting dog shit unless you're into scat)

actually fred drinking coffee isn't really good for you..

that said it's not the coffee it'self.. it's that when you drink coffee you end up not drinking something that's better for you, and contains more nutrients.. like sat OJ.. or Apple juice..

the same way drinking a coke at lunch isn't really BAD for you, it's not good for you the way something else could be.. so coffee taken in small amounts is ok.. but if all you drink is coffee, then it's defenetly bad for you.

"the gouvernement controls the health systems.. the gouvernment collects tax money on every cup of coffe you buy"

while the govenment does make money from the tax of coffee, if it really were as harmful as you say, they'd be SPENDING alot more on health care coverage for all the people fucked up on caffeine. so they wouldn't be promoting caffeine if it was bad for you. just look at how much effort the government puts into convincing people NOT to smoke cigs...and they make way more tax money off cigs than caffeine.

I don't drink that much coffee anymore, sometimes it affects me a lot, sometimes not at all. On my way home from idj I drank a large coffee and fell asleep on the bus and woke up pretty far from my house.

Last week I drank a white mokachinno/whatever that I won from a van houtte scratch ticket thing and I fell asleep in the library 20 minutes later.

yeah, what i said was pretty harsh.. your right about THE MAN being total pieces of crap.. i dunno, i just don't like caffine in my body.. something inside me tells me that is not the greatest. I used to drink coffe when i was a lot younger (sometimes) and it never really hooked me. I soon realised the crazy amounts of sugar (not the best for your body either) i pourred into my cup.

In another note, i watched my father drink coffe all his life, and coke for super.. Fuck man. I'll stick to water and juice, even tho some juice isn't the greatest either..

anyhoo, i'm cracked, and have fucked up ways of life..

a cup of coffee a day is good for you if you drink it black (i love lots of cream and sugar though)...$pooky,cause i care and i've been there...please drink less coffee :) you're pushing your body's limits.

There was a point in my life where i was drinking so much coffee it stopped having any effect so i started taking wake-ups with coffee....then moved on to crushing wake-ups and snorting them while still drinking a couple of pots a day (NOT RECOMENDED) hahahahahahaha fuck it was fun being young and invincible!

My after work special was a beer,a joint and an extra large coffee with 11 sugars in it....just to relax...:b

4 years ago, I ate a 24 pack of wakeups and downed it with 4 liters of Jolt. I was awake for 3 days and I don't remember a thing about it. Aparently I was standing on a street corner, pointing and laughing at passing cars. But I've always been a coffee addict. I think it's just stimulants in general. I looooooove my stimmies. :) See, I alternate between being an insomniac so I'm always tired for the 4-11 days I'm awake, to being a hypersomniac who sleeps 18 hours, wakes up to piss, checks hi e-mail, then goes back to bed for 18 hours, and does that for a week. So, anything and EVERYTHING that gives me energy and keeps me awake is a godsend.

I spent 2 weeks in the sleep dissorder clinic of the Children's when I was 13 and had a full team of psyches trying to figgure me out. As far as they could tell, I never really sleep. When I'm "asleep", only about 2-3% of the amount of my brain that's supposed to fall asleep, does. In my dreams, I can see color and read full, complex sentences. Technically, my brain is almost completely awake 24/7, except when I "sleep" it's only 97-98% awake.

Mental exhaustion is my best friend.

that is quite impossible. Maybe you misunderstood and what exactly happens is that your phases are fucked up and your paradoxal sleep cycle never progresses during the night with the other cycles, which prevents ou from having a good night sleep. If you are half awake it means you are NOT in a paradoxal sleep cycle, which means you are NOT recuperating your energy and your brain is not doing an overview of the things you learnt during the day. Do you have a lot of memory blanks?

Only "memory blanks" I get are all related to my near-death experience. I remember almost nothing of my life before easter weekend 1994, it's like I was born that weekend. But what I'm saying is what was told to me. As I understand it, when you sleep, one half of your brain "shuts down" (the left part) and the other part of the brain "turns on" more than usual. The part that's supposed to "shut down", let's say that half doesn't really shut down, but the amount that it stops working as a whole is 100% of how it normaly shuts down. Mine only goes down 2-3%, as opposed to the 100% it's supposed to. After 2 weeks, I got sick and tired of all the tests and shrinks, and since i'd been like that for a while, they just let me go 'cause they had no idea what was going on or how to help it. Medication did nothing, and psychology on me is more of a waste of time than anything.
