i remember a few years back me when me and my boy would be skating the wall in westmount park this dude would show up with one of those dirt boards and pop 360 indies off this grass hip and it was totally outta control!!! those mountain board are more like snow boards for the off season in my opinion... | Coolness: 106260 | I've been skating for 22 years now, started out with an old fish board. I've witnessed the comming in and going out of style of skateboarding, the different fads, shapes, sizes. One thing that is for sure is that the modern street skate (double tail, mini wheels...) is total crap for rolling on anything but wood or ciment. 3 years ago I switched to a sort of hybrid skull skates longboard (concave with nose and tail) and my frestyle board has been collecting dust ever since.
Sexual preferance has nothing to do with skatebording, i've yet to meet a gay skateborder (though i'm sure there are plenty) But harping on the gayness of this and that might be an indication that you are: 1. realy fascinated by homosexuality, 2. overcompensating your heterosexualité, 3. lack the vocabulary/imagination to think up a proper insult. Eather way you cut it, chances are you are gay, and if your not you are an idiot. :P |

Exactly why i bought it, so i can keep my legs in good shape for the return of the snow season. + I have a lot of fun every time i go out with that board... Montreal being built on a mountain, it offers many opportunities for adrenaline seekers like me. | Coolness: 106260 | Skateboards where originally designed for surfers on the off day, and snowboards where invented to keep the skaters occupies during the winter.
For skating ramps and parks, doing tricks, handrails, flights of stair's, the small boards are quite suited, but for getting from one place to the other on the pothole laden streets of Montreal, a larger more stable board with larger and softer wheels makes for a much more enjoyable ride. It' s also faster and quieter. Neways, fun is what its all about. |
