i was too tired to dance on that music. i like prog, but only when i'm awake. more like in the beginning of the night, before the peak, you know... when i'm tired it makes me fall asleep on the dancefloor. or go chill with people. that's why it's great at afterparties too. personally i was happy to hear the full-on crazy morning music, that stuff could keep me going for hours. so energyzing! :) Mise À Jour » AYkiN0XiA a écrit sur Mon 2 Apr, 2007 @ 7:18pm but the stuff ekoplex played was awesomely good, i must admit. maybe later in the morning, if the party would've extended longer. anyways - at least both people got to play a bit... |

Greg nothing against u and you know it... I was not working but moving so i couldnt make it for 11 so i told manu ONE week before and he said it was ok . So i was told by him that i was playing at 6 or 8 ... He didnt really know( did not matter at all !) I live 30 minutes from montreal , took a pause in my moving to bring my turntables so that the dj's could have good gear to play on ( lets count a 10 dollar of gas for that... no counting time) I did not play at 8... Echoplex played...An excellent live set by the way ! At least 20 people came to me asking when the fuck was i playing some of them came and paid in part to see me! the only dj set that really upset me was Manu's ! The guy is cool , fun, i love him ... But he can't mix !!! To me it is disrespect to charge for that... And to close it all the party did not end at 10 like it was supposed to on the flyers ... but at 9 ! So i did not play ... Bonnie FUCK YOU ! I never tried to stop nobody's set ... HE offered me to cut it so that i could play we talked all about it like grown men , everything was cool with that.. So little girl shut up please if you do not know what you are talking about please ! So on if you give it a count, 10 dollars to deliver turntables, 10 to come and play , 280 dollars of cd's i baught 2 weeks before the party because i was sooo excited plus the cost for the location of equipment that i was not charging at all anyways because i am a good person and i want every party to be successful and great! 100 dollars was the agreed payment at the end of the night ... Pangea 10:00 - 11:00 Dreamtektor 11:00 - 00:00 Paradigm 00:00 - 01:00 Drizzt 01:00 - 02:00 Bio Genesis Live 02:00 - 04:00 Horizon 04:00 - 05:00 Rickam 05:00 - 06:00 Akat 06:00 - 07:00 Ekoplex Live 07:00 - 08:00 ___ these times were posted on the day of the event !! with that said, it sucks to have been "cut short" or completly bumped out of the line-up, but when a Dj says "sure, i'll play at that time" and expects promotors to warp there whole line-up 1 week, JESUS, 1 week.. not 1 month, 7 days before a party is totaly rediculis.. if a dj tells me "vinny bro, something came up and i can't make my set", i would either respond, contact the other dj's and check to see for a switch or find a replacement for your set" !! Adding the amount you paid for CD's before hand to justify payment is totally irrelevant seeing as you didn't leave all those CD's at the party when you left. Just reading your reply makes me wounder what you must have been asking Ray durring his live set.. i have this funny feeling Bonnie's side is more credible. Some advise is to not take yourself so seriously man, especially in a scene so small. You should also refrain from saying that other dj's are disrespectful for charging to play, despit the fact that YOU feel they can't mix well. I really hope you aren't talking about Manu from Gatineau !! Yeah, you got fucked a little in the situation there's no doubt, but i feel its more your fault than anyone else's... p.s. if you fuck with Bonnie, you fuck with me.. now say your sorry before using the word's "disrespect" in your reply !!! |

 Coolness: 71440 | Hey dudes, due to the drastic short time to sort another venue caused a lot of stress and some changes to the lineup, hence why it was put up on the 31st. (and atleast the party actually happend) . We tried our best to statisfy everyone, so you know its manuels 2nd party and he has still alot to learn in organizing. However still i think his attempt was killer and im sure jim will be able to sort something out in person for the loss of your set then over the forums ;) And yes manu should have announced the time to you early, which i thought he did, but wasnt the case. As for the music! we tried to atleast have several styles prog, fullon, night and tech, isnt that better??? Anyways time to decompress and see you at the next psy mash up. greg

Vinny ... For the Time slots i guess it was a lack of commnication between Manu and Greg because when i talked about it one week ago manu asked me if i could play from 10 to 11 and i told him i couldn't and he said he would check it out. Saturday afternoon,everything was fine... I am really sorry i had to sort things out on this forum , it was not what i wanted at all... This is not the place for that! |

I came there after Back to the Groove bust :-( We should do more parties at this place, Maximum Hardcore, Ravewars and a NTK party was at this place. The only prob, just 1 toilette, but guys can go pee outside :-P Well todays Montreal have a lack of venue, we should consider this one for futur raves. |
