 Coolness: 49060 | That's not the good way....Unfortunately...And sorry, it's totaly legal to rent to anybody, sound company have not to care about what kind of event promoter do, they rent and that's all. The thing I dont like, is that they (the afters hours) whant to make a ware to underground event. If each week we got a canceled event, we lose a lot because equippements is reserved for this event and can't be rent for something else. We have always prefered rent for that kind of event at the place of fucking boring corporate party, and we have always reserve stock for underground event first. You got priority. What it will happen, is that more event busted, less priority you will have for stock and you will finish to only work with Mackie or JBL crap for your event....As most sound company did now....Same for lightning....And maybe room except if you squate! |

 Coolness: 685610 | Here's an idea for something you can do on your part. Tell them that since there have been so many events canceling on you and that they make up a significant part of your customer base, they you're thinking of increasing the price of your system's rental. |
