| Coolness: 133650 | i dont give much money too bums cause i've seen many of the actually buying crack with the money so that turned me off. i know there are some that actually need the money but in the last year many pan handlers in toronto have been caught faking it. one lady pretended to be crippled and shaky, some reporter followed her at the end of the day and she walks fine to her car and drove to her house. that was front page news, i never saw her again. |

When you come to a bum and ask them if they're hungry or thirsty and they're like; -Fuck that,i want MONEY - Then,the bum is heading for drugs and its not my problem.... The best was a old bum to whom, i replied that i had no money,and he was like ; -I'm not talking to you,being young in this crazy system is really hard.Do you WANT some spare change,did you eat enough today ??- I was impressed...  Coolness: 685630 | I very rarely give to bums because I`ve seen so many fakers it`s dissgusting. There`s a guy that hangs out near Place D'Arme metro that`s always just barel holding on to life on his crutches and he looks like he`s about to die on the spot. Up untill about 10:30pm when he hobbles around the corner, gets into a spot where no one can see him, and he gets off his crutches and walks back to the metro.
There`s the guy that was always outside of the store that used to be Crazy Irving that did the same thing. Gave him money once and a few days later I saw him in the store, fine, buying a computer. And who can forget the guy on a wheelchair that goes down St-Denis harassing everyone on the teraces for money because he`s crippled. Sure, THAT guy really is crippled. But he`s using the money to buy heroin, because my father and I saw him get busted once on a terace across from Excalibur. |
