well it is 4 words really, lol.
People focus too much on the word itself instead of what it means but.. it's not a word I like to use because I think that using it tends to sort of imply that ravers are supposed to know or practice the meaning of these words more than anyone else. When I hear people say plur, my thoughts are 'what's your point?'. Cause no matter what social circle you end up in people are essentially the same and no one ever has to say that word to practice it, it's a natural phenomenon. I think that there are way too many ravers out there who beleive that they are changing the world by going to a party and seeing their ticket money as a donation to a needy charity. Feeling plur is not helping starving kids in africa. If you have hopes of dancing and smiling off famine and war it means the drugs are making you stupid and you should stop. If you think you can turn the whole world into love happy ravers who share everything and disarm their missiles, it also means you're on too many drugs. I can just picture all the world leaders with candy bracelets handing out e, yeah. Not everyone wants to be like that.
Ravers do no more than anyone else to change the world and make it better. It would be a different case if they did something besides just rave and talk about all the good things they can be doing.. like actually doing them. There is really nothing that makes a rave more plur than any other place. So in a way the word to me just sounds really arrogant and hypocritical. It implies that one thinks they are behaving more righteously than others and it's just not true, it's naive. It's naive and selfish to think that dancing and smiling at people makes you a good person, I mean there are so many settings where that word would apply better - like when you're hiking through the Himalaya's pulling dead bodies out of feets of mud and giving kids stitches, that's when you start having the right to say plur.
I'm feeling long gone right now..

*applauds*
You make an awesome point. Raving is pretty selfish, it's for NOTHING but pleasure and there's really nothing that goes on there that helps anybody achieve anything useful. It's not WRONG, but it's [ not...us ]
I'm feeling awesome right now..

I find it is quite useful indeed.
We need pleasures. We need to enjoy life.
Or else we go mad and kill ourselves.

Nah, you can take pleasure in reading a book... and there's no down or severe depression when it ends...
We do need pleasures, but it doesn't matter what those pleasures are, and so a rave in itself, is not useful. The pleasure you gain is, but again, it's a very selfish thing. (There's no such thing as a selfless act of course, but I think you see my point) maybe not :P
I'm feeling awesome right now..

I'm feeling the vibe right now..
