Anyone who feels they are so socially attached to people or things that they couldn't possibly live without them is experiencing fear (of loss), not love. You should never fear losing those you love because we all eventually lose everything anyways. Accepting this inevitability is the only way to fully appreciate the emotions we reciprocate for one another and the limited time we have to spend with one another until the time of expiration. Only once love has manifested itself into it's purest form can we make the preparations necessarily to insure it's timeless survival through physical, mental, linguistic, and artistic expressions so that others have the opportunity to interpret and eventually understand the feeling with accuracy. |

You are right. Maybe I am too scared of letting him go. I guess this is inevitable. And I supposed waiting won't help either. And I don't belive in dying for someone if you love them...or be willing to die. I don't beleive we are halfs waiting to find the matching other half. A person is a person with or without someone else by their side. I have trouble seeing the other optic tho it's still interesting to hear other ppls opinion. And for the record, this is an interesting thread and I dont think you were looking to rant out your problems. Its hard to talk about love without bringing in personnal experiences. |
