| I Had the opportunity to test out the Wii this past weekend at a friend's house,... Seems alright but definitely takes some getting used to. I feel as though they designed the system primarily for people who would traditionally move their arms & bodies while playing older gaming systems due to poor hand-eye coordination and/or poor finger dexterity. If anything, I can see a significant increase in premature wrist arthritis from playing this system and to be honest, eventhough the concept of motion sensors seems cool and provides slightly more physical exercise for people who sit home and play video games obsessively, I much prefer traditional button-pushing console controllers. The fact that the system is somewhat backwards compatable & allows the use of N64 and gamecube remotes for older games which are available for download definititely add intersting flexibility to the system. Aside from a chipped Xbox or computer emulators on PC, I can't think of any other gaming console that legally allows you to download and run roms from older gaming consoles (ie: new, snes, genesis, turbo grphx 16, etc). |

| you wont get arthritis from moving your joints a lot, this will, if anything cause a repetitive stress injury.
either way though, i see this as being something good since it make the player move a more than they would if they were playing something else like ps3 or xbox.. |
