 Coolness: 64850 | Yeah, it's at like 250 now, with another 20-25 here, 10 or so on purerave. I haven't seen an Ottawa event receive this much support ever. I've had people at my work asking me if I've heard about "this church party" once some of them heard I was into the underground stuff. It's been mentioned in University classes, discussed from students to profs. I've even had a local newspaper company contact me for an interview for their arts section. (Stay tuned, I will try to post it on [ rave.ca ] after the article is published next week)
It's becoming clear that this event will sell out. The only way to assure enterence if you're coming in from out of town is to message me with your name so that I can add you onto the invite list (20$ for out of town). If you're from in town, the only way is to buy an invite from the outlets (20$), or to message me to get onto the invite list (25$ for in town). There will be no door sales for people who are not on the invite list. Thanks again for the support everyone. :) |

To get there you take the 50, exit at Chemin de Masson, and take a right at the T junction, later this road becomes Avenue de Buckingham Go up to Maclaren, and hook a left. Take a right at Donaldson, and the venue is the big church at the top of the hill. Techno Church 2 is being held at 45 Donaldson, Buckingham Quebec. This might also be recognised as the same venue as the original Techno Church was held. The same venue indeed had a 2nd room in the back that was never used for anything other than storage. It is smaller, and chill sized. This is not the red light room to clarify, that is an entirely separate room that will also be up and running tomorrow. Party is by advanced invite only. Invites are still available in limited quantities at NormL clothing (41.5 William) and Vertigo Records (193 Rideau). We will be making one last restock run in the both of those outlets tomorrow at noon. Other than that the last available spot to pick up an invite is on the shuttle bus itself, which is leaves at the corner of Rideau and Cumberland.
