| Coolness: 92270 | yeah.. but in my mind the idea of united kingdom being a country is nothign more than a technicality for international relations, each of the four countries still have their own governments and cultures and the people living there consider their countries to be the same countries as they always were. No one in the United Kingdom will ever tell you that their country is the united kingdom or even consider it. Technically to say it's a country is correct though. That I didn't realise, politically I can accept that but socially I would never refer to it this way cause I know they don't themselves. Anyway, you learn somethign new every day. |
