i know its easy to blame gretzky for the loss, but come on, all the players on team canada were not into it. they thought that they would win no matter what happened. yes we are defending the gold medal in hockey, but that doesent mean we have to slack off during the beggining rounds (which all the players did). since the begging of the tournament, none of them proved that they were defending champions, it sucks i know, but team canada should have worked alot harder than they did. i am all about team canada, and i am Canadian to the max, but they could not work well togeather, or help eachother out during the hare time of the games. Canada should have done alt better, as in winning the gold, but they got lazy thinking they were always going to be #1, i hope they learn from this and take 2010 in vancouver without a loss!!!! GO TEAM CANADA GO!!!!!!!!!!!! |
