Thing is, if your computer is vulnerable to hackers to begin with, you're going to be hacked by botnets anyway. There are tons of computers out there that litterally scan every since IP available doing port scans trying to find an entry point. You want to be protected? Get a firewall. That's it. |

And for a hacker to hack ,he need to know were u are ,and thats the hardess step,the rest is just security testing untill u breach. And this web site is bound to be fild whit hackers /scirpt Kd that just stir up shit and want to get back at ppls...No? Call me paranoid ,but ... i just think they shoulndt be there... Why are they displays there like that ? Whats its purpose? |

Everytime you view a website your IP is given to them, everytime you use an IM, filesharing app, game ANYTHING on the internet, your IP is given to the server or remote peer.. there is nothing particularly dangerous about giving your IP out unless you have an insecure computer... simply because your computer gives it out by default. If I ping your computer, it will "pong" back.. that's how TCP/IP works. |

But id be still safer w/o them... Lets just says thats taking a bit the privacy out of the users of the site... And makes something almost imposible ,like hacking or (hijacking) other ppls account,(if u dont know there address),to something very possible ,if not hack,then nuke or the other 10 000 ways there is to get by anything out there, Bleh,still dont* know why there posted up there , A reminder? Bleh.. |

If we wanted to allow people to post like that (annonymously) we would allow people to post without accounts.. but we don't. |

Par contre je crois pas que d'avoir les ip est vraiment util d'autant plus que dans mon cas je n'ai pas un ip fixe. J'espere que la nouvelle version sera plus utile dans ce cas la tout en étant plus confidentiel ce serait bien non? |
