| The goverment needs to fucking do something about the packed metro. I was in the green line this morning and heard the annoucment(assumed it was a suicude actually, happens alot in montreal)
If people are falling in, -and to me that seems quite believable since i almost fell in the tracks this morning due to the fucking PUSHING-, then the goverment needs to do something |

| If people are going to suicide, at least have the decency to do it at home. Why do they have to disrupt a good amount of commuters? It's like no one cares about the suicides and making them late for work/class is not going to get any empathy. Yeah it's easy just to jump off into the rail, but it's just as easy to put a plastic bag over your head.

| i agree, the metros are way too packed at peak hours, something really should be done... the number of people that just so happen to not care because he or she is in a rush to get home or wherever is BULLSHIT, ... the person next to you wants to get home just as much after a hard day of school or work...so quit the pushing cus no one is going to get anywhere.... |

| the problem isn't that the metros are packed it's that people in Montreal don't know how to give up their concept of 'personal space' even at peak metro hours.. I have always been able to fit in even when other people refused to board the metro due to crowding :D |

| It's not that the media "isn't allowed" to talk about it... it's just that 1) people are/were tired of hearing about it. 2) what good is it if the media shoves the idea into people's mind that dropping yourself in the metro lines is the best and easiest way to kill yourself.
