C'est certain qu'il faisait chaud, et ça l'a nuit pas mal à l'appréciation du party surtout pour ceux qui dansent à 160 bpm presque all nigt long, mais je voit pas pkoi vous êtes déçu du headliner. DJ Promo nous l'a envoyé en pleine gueule, débutant avec ses classiques et devenant toujours plus raw avec ses tracks de plus en plus récentes. Technique irréprochable aux tables tournantes pour l'un des très rares DJ hardcore à figurer dans le top 250 de DJ Mag. C'est certain que Promo a un son qui est moins "mainstream" et plus raw, mais fallait s'y attendre...

 Coolness: 90270 | hehe well the other HAF parties people complained there was not enough hardcore ;) It's too bad we didn't manage to get the formula down perfectly, but regardless I saw nothing but smiling (sweaty) faces all night so I'll consider that some things were done right.
Personally I really enjoyed Promo's set, lots of his own tracks and it was pretty much what I expected after listening to his Sensation Black mix. Very nice guy, apparently he enjoyed the party in Montreal more than Fuck the Prejudice in NYC. All the other DJs were awesome, with my personal favorite set of the night being DJ Mad (I knew it was gonna kick ass, dark dark energy trance!) followed by B7 & Deztro, who seemed to find the frequency of bass that would make the whole venue shake and throwing down for an hour like that! Vibe was great, again I have to say that what makes our events great are the people that attend it. Thanks to everyone that helped out, official staff and otherwise. Le D and Matt for being the bad guys, Supaman who brought half of Gatineau with him, Juniah for being generally helpful, Amilya for great deco help (now I'm gonna force you to help all the time), Emm for being Promo's guide while i was stuck at the venue, Ride productions for running the bar for us. So many others I may be forgetting, but the help was appreciated and the event couldn't have gone on without you all. For everyone that bought tickets, you guys are the reasons these parties can happen and we'll continue to work hard at making our events better so you'll continue to support us in the future. That was the last Hard as Fuck party, I hope people enjoyed the series. We'll be taking some time off to plan something very special in the early part of 2006. Hopefully with a good 5-6 months to plan we'll be able to take all the good things from our past events and fix all the problems to throw a party that really blows everyone out of the water. We'd made last second plans to rent 30' ventilation fans from loutec but by the time our truck arrived in the town, it was past 5pm. No Fucking Sissy Melodies and crappy ''clap clap clap'' beats - my 2 cents ;) |
