Landlords live in this romanticised world where they will eventually meet the tenants of their dreams, a helpless old lady living by herself with no living relatives who never complains about the lack of hot water or the falling ceiling AND will gladly accept a 10% increase on the rent every year despite the fact that no work has been done in 3 years to repair the steps to her apartment knowing fully those 14 steps could potentially kill her every friggin' time she goes out or comes back in. Of course, in the real world, you'd have to refuse 128 applicants to get her. |
