that was a fucking magical night. thanks to all the DJs that played fucking AMAZING sets. unfortunately AD showed up with a horrible case of tonsilitis or some such fever raging through his devastated body. we sent him off to the emergency room with happy birthdays and hopefully he'll be better soon n live to play at mix one day in the future. of course the biggest hugest props and hugs go out to luc aka indica aka b weiser, played a err unique set w/ final scratch, playing some crazy edits and remixes (rage against the machine what?!?!?), a really heavy emotional moment. the last night he's able to drink and his last set and night out before intensive chemotherapy this weekend, i wish him the best of luck and knowing the soldier that he is, he's gonna pull through in fine shape. we're already planning his comeback gig @ saphir :) thanks of course to all that showed and danced their mad asses off, lots of new faces out last night which is always good to see.. thanks everyone :!! ) |

thanks rhys for slapping me in the face, BITING my fucking face off then throwing broken glass at everyone, good thing i punched you square in the forehead YES! good times heheh.. big thanks to Derelict for closin the night off with a HEAVY, HEAVY breaks set, kept the floor vibing until the very end. Sase shamelessly rocked the party tracks, Bias suprised me with a super dark electro-ey set, amazing, this kid fucking owns behind the decks and now I realize he's also a very diverse DJ... you'll definitely be seeing more of him in coming months. osicka did a characteristically excellent job of opening, and Basement Wigger, what more can i say, DOPENESS. nice up on the strongbad too hhehe. |

I was only there for the Basement Weegro...wicked set...drive-by dnb... Right before that though I had the pleasure of being trapped in a locked little shitty area with Host Pwn, the dapper goth Spooky Fred (see pics, added), and Gen. It wasn't as fun as it sounds...but the blueberry blunt was a nice touch dude. Eventually I wigged out and broke outta there via the back and climbed fences and escaped and came back in the front. Never a dull moment! |
