| Coolness: 48240 | Certain religions are co-productive too a society. They give base morals and values and also laws. Religion isnt great, in that regards its jsut like goverement, but it does work to give a common populace certain goals. I think christianity and islam are productive for societies. They prevent crime, they prevent rape, they prevent murder(yes some of u are thinking bout the executions in muslim countries n so on but there are always fanatics to any given religion). Religion is productive and some parts of africa could use some of that right now instead of having anceit tribal warfare which some ppl feel we shouldnt stop cause its "ancient" n its thier custom. N neoform no matter where u go in no matter what culture u have some dictator. There is always someone trying to tell other ppl what to do. Its universal, its human nature. Sure englands conquest of africa was bad. Im a great fan of shaka of the zulu who held of the brits for over a year with just shorthanded spear and cowhide shields which i believe both were his own invention. Keep in mind that conquest open to the door for present day africa too be productive. Now in some parts of africa they are kicking out the whites and gaining control of farmland, busniesses etc. Thier own economy is starting to grow. Look at the same situation in the ireland-england relationship. Irish were nothing but savages but they were civilize by the brits giving the chance for them to win on english terms and now ireland is the fasting growing economy in europe and that for the irish ppl having a large part of my family there is the greatest of revenge. I just can't wait too see the AFRO dollar becoming larger then the euro |

Don't start that saying that other religion promote rape and retardness like that, all religions have their sexual scandals and christianty has a lot of sexual scandals itself. Yes, 2000 years ago, a dude named has Jesus had good ideas as said on the books he didn't wrote, but can we say now that theses ideas were still "teached correctly" after 2-3 generations after him? Jesus provided hope in the Roman Era where gods doomed you at the start and where politics were very repressive, that's why it survived at that time. After that, it survived by the needs of having more power and more control. |
