Je m'en souviens presque comme si c'etait hier. J,avais rdv avec uen amie sur la rive sud. Etant partie sans le papier de son adresse et numero de telephone je ne pouvais plus al rejoindre. Moi nono j'ai realiser ca une fois que mon lift ma deposé dans le fond de st-hubert. En marchant j,ai vu une annonce sur un poteau qui dissais ( Dance floor 2 rue a droite). Comem j'aime la danse j'ai suivi l'instruction j'avais rien de meixu a faire de tout facon. Apres genre 4 ou 5 instructions du genre je suis tombé sur une vieille grange prete a rendre l'ame. Meme si la grange etait mouru, calice qu'il y avais de la vie dans cette putaine de grange. J'ai dansé dansé dansé, j'ai poper mon premier speed qui dans ce temps pouvais donné plusieurs jours de tripp. Mal chance pour moi j'ai decolé de touts mes responsabilitées durant plus de 2 jours. J,ai suivis les autres feteux durant 2 jours complet sans manger juste a boire de l'eau et du jus, pour la premeire fois je passais un jours sans bouffe hahahaha. Ouais je vais organiser un shittt du genre... |

ok i might help a little with the dates neksus were in 94 we did 5 parties one in march 94 (with some netherland dj's i think spyder something) one in april 94 one in july or august one in september (on my b-day like it said on the flyer) and the last one in november (thata last one was with stelarc) it was were the autodesk (or is it discreet) building is at the western most part of old montreal and actually story goes the people that got the building from that company went to the parties and is how they scouted the building in the first place! also on the september edition was the filiming sequences for a movie i forget what ist called and you can see actual footage in the movie's ending minutes they filmed at the party while people were .well partying and also some shoots were made next to that building under the bonaventure highway bridge.. my first rave, hum man it was like tiga and willow's "mr freakee's" on the boat in the old port to which i went after receiving a flyer from tiga himself flyering for in front of robert's (de la G) night (saturn6) at dax on sanguinet in fornty of the old 281... that probably was in '92 if i'm correct.. well this was the first rave announced as a rave with a flyer and such and such but since i worked in a club at that time (i used to work at chambers back then,which was at 182 ste-catherine east) i was in the loop for most after hour parties happening throughout the city.. and well royal started around that time aswell and one well known event was the after hour happening under royal which in turn then lead the elaboration and opening to the other club i wnet to work for the REAL first afterhours club the playground which then a few years later was joined by the groove society club to becme the first bar and afterhours combination soon to be followed by sona and later on stereo.. |

 Coolness: 68275 | In 1999 first afterhours experience as i walk into stereo i remeber the track that was playing too "elements" danny tenaglia and the dance floor was paked and light flashing everwhere the sweetest soundsystem i have ever heard!!! my jaw dropped i was in awe!!!Party experience i can't really remember but that makes it good right??? |

| Coolness: 102735 | General Dee, i don't believe your story at all. It smells like BS. A rave in Saint-Hubert in 92? lol. Maybe it was a pop dance party.
If you have been around for such a long time, then your "party" in 2k7 shouldn't have been a colossal failure, because you should've known how things go. ..and it doesn't matter when was your first rave... but you're just being a poseur by pretending and thinking how far you go back or being old school is important and thinking it will get you props and respect. It won't. |
