If you are talking about that epic dancetrance vocal stuff and sandstorm I agree 100%, but stuff like psytrance shouldn't even be considered the same genre as that ... And the better goa psytrance is some of the hardest music to make because you have to fit a lot of layers in the mix and also be creative with your synth patches and effects and whatnot. |

 Coolness: 56255 | yeah I also dislike the trance or "epic trance" as scotty called it. Anyway, again, I find "trance" ideal for the type of dancing I do because it has many layers that are often going at different tempo's, rhythm, : the various interplay of sounds, frequencies, melodies... it's so dynamic and yet when put together well.. it is all in harmony....mechanical harmony...but harmony nevertheless. I suppose all good music generally speaking has this good 'harmony' --
anyway, trance and I am actually reffering to a type of music which I may not be categorizing properly. But in my head or if I hear it I can say this is the kind of trance I like. u know? |
