Red uniforms are good for hiding the blood. Oh, and brown pants would be nice as well.

why does anyone post anything?

People can post a certain thing for different reasons.
Maybe, he's asking because he is thinking of going into the army or maybe he's asking because he wants to kknow what others think about it because he has a particular opinion about it.

It's not a bad question... however alot of people don't know why they ask certain things.

it was a retorical question....

I know. But your rhetorical question was implying how stupid my question was I think. So, I just wanted to bring to your attention that the wuestion was a rational one.
Have a good one!

Its fun! Of course is not for everybody, u need to like assault rifles, grenade launcher, machine gun, commando tactics ect. Its also my part-time job. The most I like is when we doing exercises in the wood, we got the C7a1 assault rifle(paintball or blank shot)and we doing some missions like hostage rescue, capturing VIP, assaulting camp...the most fun because I can feel like ``Counter-strike`` specialy when we enter in a building like a swat team and shout; GET DOWN! GET DOWN!. Yeah! but the most boring time is when we carry some heavy charge or we assume the heavy discipline of the Staff. In resume, I enjoy it but I will not do this all of my life.

hmm.. I can see how all that would/could be fun. Had we not been raised on "violent" video games and movies that we all have come to love and enjoy-- perhaps, army life would not be as appealing. But I don't know.

I, think, that the army is quite lucrative. You can get benefits: education, friends, patriotic love from people etc. I respect people who join in the army, in general, not because they join the army but because they are humans just like me. It's MY constitutional duty.

I don't belive in war and believe that is we prepare for war-- we are supporting it. But it's a tough decision to make.

I hope you enjoy your time in the army.

Peacee. and please do share more.. I am interested in hearing.

The Canadian Army is a joke.

Sure, once upon a time we were a great force that won many decicive battles in WWII... But these days, all we hear about is how Canadian Seahawks are pieces of shit, and how England ripped Canada off by selling our government rusty old submarines.

Perhaps, yes, we do have very well trained soldiers (eg: Snipers in Afghanistan), and ofcourse were somewhat of a 'force' when it comes to peace keeping (eg: Haiti). But what the fuck does Canada really have to offer when you consider military strengh?

Last thing I heard about our army, was that we were the first country to become "militarily bankrupt" and that Canada was sending 20-soldiers to Irak. Woopie-Fuckn'-do!

But I suppose I could be wrong about our country being the laughing stock of the military world. Canada does have roughly about 7,200,000 fit for service, and about 1,000,000 more if there were a draft. Canada also spends 9,801.7 million, which comes to about 1.1% of our GDP.

In comparison, to Scotty P's comment about, Iceland. WHo only have 75,000 fit for service, and spend (according to the CIA Factbook),a whopping, $0.

On the other hand, when we look at Iran: They have about 12,000,000 in service, and an additional 20,000,000 if need be. And they spend about 9-billion a year on their army. Or even the U.S, who has 75-million ready for combat, and spend roughly about 300-billion a year.

When you look at that, Canada is just small fries. Wow, can I rant or what!?
