 Coolness: 91775 | Well, there is alot of stigma attached to drug use - not just in this board, but in society. Most people are quite ignorant about drugs and get all their information on the topic from government anti-drug campaigns and hollywood movies, so basically beleive that anyone who does drugs must be some kind of low-life junkie.
Then there are those who have used drugs but perhaps regret some of the things they've done, and might even hate that part of themself that wants to get high. So then when such people see others do similar behavior, they tend to take out their feelings and direct them at others rather than at themselves. A classic example of projection. |
