It's like going to a bar on rib night and then complaining that ribs are on special!

ok so if there's a dj trainwrecking for an hour straight, you're not allowed to complain cause, you know, there's djs at raves and stuff.

that's retarded. maybe i should specify AGAIN: bad MCs get on my nerves. whoever was on the mike from 4-5 and then from 6am on were absolutely terrible.

BEST FUKKIN PARTY OF THE YEAR!

Thanks a lot IDJ for one of the nicest events in a long time. You guys work hard day-in, day-out to bring Montreal a party that is always a guaranteed good time.

Saturday's party definitely took the cake as the best vibed, highest energy IDJ in a while. Everyone involved did a great job at hyping up the party and keeping the people moving. And when I left at 8am, the place was still packed...people still brucking out.

The complaints about this party are from 2 or 3 people, namely one of the djs and his girl. ALL the ravers who were there on Saturday night with their party hats on had a good time and will be back at future IDJ events for sure for sure. And that is whom we need inside the party, people who want to get down and have fun.

The people who are up in arms about the night need to remember that this was only a party ... a wikkid party, but just a party, and not worth getting to upset about. The vast majority of people in attendance had a blast, enjoyed the music and the mcing and will no doubt return.... That makes this party a huge success and proof of a job well done by all involved.

I said it before, and I'll say it again....IDJ is Montreal's best jungle/drum and bass event. Bar none.

Big up to the IDJ crew, Seb, Nitrous, Benji, the PI 67 (FUKKIN TEARING SET ON SATURDAY ... OH MY GAWD), the Host One and Montréal’s great Latin hype the MC Loco.... also to my man Regimental (the party specialist) and all of the out of town performers who brought the vibes, the energy and the smiles on Saturday night.

I hope the next IDJ is as much fun as this one!

Thanks to all, wicked vibes inside last weekend.

About the mc's ;

our guest mc's Spaztek and Catalyst did a great/smooth job [ ...ca ] voices and proper interventions...
same for E=MC aka my man Ben
same for our residents Loco and Host One ..

then later it went out of control ..
no disrespects or whateva u know ...all that was was cool vibes inside ...no doubt ...
but drunkness made the vocals go annoying, no doubt about this 2

i personnaly, and so does most idj attenders, like to enjoy the sounds smoothly at some point too ...let music speaks ...a good balance between mc-filled moments and instrumental moments ..especially in the morning, in the last hours ...

well no big deal ..we'll put a bouncer next to the mic starting with the next jam :smokin....
Phil !!! :lol

peace out

much love + thanks to everyone who showed up, the hardworkin crew, our friends and guests Kent, Catalyst,Ben,SPaztek,Lalla and their wicked crews that came along ....
-i had a bomb-ass time- Toronto's Dj OZ

wicked sets by everyone , originals, classics, new sounds ....skills were on the bill ...

way fun to spend a monthly night of debauchry with all u guys

I've said it before and will say it many times: Seb you're the man, and your crew rocks! Lalla LOL!

Awesomeness. In fact, Catalyst didn't make it down, it was just Rick & I with DS-1, but thanks for the props regardless. I was too hurtin' again to make it down to see you guys the next day, but I'll be back sooner than later.

Big up.

Well, that party was actually very good. I enjoyed the music the whole time. I agree that some mcs where taking a bit too much place, but I still had a wicked time.

Big respects to idj, for throwing some of the best fuckin parties in montreal!

MAssive respects @ the Ottawa crew ! :smokin

Also a special shoutout @ Husstler and Regimental
BIG respects guys, thanks for your positivity-hypeness and strong support
BIG THE FUCK UP mates ! :) :) :)

So yah hopefully peeps can understand that the situation with mcs went out of control at some point and it aint representative of whats usually going on lyrics-wise ...
usually the mc's are almost never around ...just at the proper moments and no big freestylin inside ...
the idj crowd prefers listening to the sounds all smoothly ...

i personnaly am a big fan of the art of lyricism ; and Regimental for example is one hell of a talented mouth-user ...check out the Hardsteppers album coming out soon and you'll figure this out yourself ...OMG

REGARDING the sound crackling and shit ;
thats another thing that went out-of-control ;
our main concern that night was about a clear-not-too-loud sound ....we worked alot on it ...
and up to a certain point late in the night , it was all balanced ...microphone wasnt too heavy ....sound wasnt too high, no roughness on the ears ...'nuff space for all sounds to travel in the room ...
but some peeps started messin around with the console and the shit started ....thats what drunkness can do ....no disrespects involved or whatever but peeps , even friends, are not allowed to touch-fuck with the gear at any point without one of the idj promoters agreement ...

so next time, anyone who wants to fuck around with our setup ; well leave it the way it is ...
we worked on it ......:)

Anyways ; BIG shoutouts to everyone
i had a blast

thanks to those sayin my person rawks ...
u 2's rock big time

The sound was all because of a faulty cable from the mixer. Leave it to me and Presha (all formally trained engineers) to miss that, and the damn DS-1 to figure it out lol
