 Coolness: 471930 | So ; lotsa fun @ this one episode of the idj fiestas ..
Dj comp. involved alot of talent hope no one took it seriously 'nuff to be down afterward ... thats the danger of the word*competition* So ; in my opinion TNT JUNGLIST was close to win .. props mang Big ups RU for takin off with the crown A Montreal newbie but certainly not a real upcomer ...it showed she's at ease and experienced on the decks .. anyways props goes to her still .. and Montreal's got a new wicked+tight selecta around, which is great Missed most of the other dj's in the comp. .. DUBCODE was good .. SCREWHEAD must've been excellent for i saw him evolve in his dj skills and its getting better & better every week ...so u won't stop hearing from him ....hell no ... Also massive respects to ELDAM RY, PUNANNY BIZNISS & BEAUTIFUL VANDALS !!! As planned winner gets to headline at one of the next IN Da Jungle parties BUT....... that doesn't mean u won't get to hear the others 2 .. so stay tuned for more Montreal madness @ IDJ's .. NITROUS's set was the bomb ; fast & furious as always AXIONFIGGA was excellent 2 , not a surprise .. Pi 67 ended it up hardcore way , pushing the hardness 'til the last minutes ...killin it propa Mad shoutouts to LOCO, HOST ONE & MC Y on the verbal skillz ...good team work mates :) Chill room seemed pretty cool 2...missed Dom's set for i was workin at the door ...i'm sure it was good .. sketchy glowsticks-maximumspeed-ravers freaked the hell outta me at some point ...bah shit happens ..:lol The happy vibin' crowd was nice as usual many newcomers in da house ,.. many regulars missing 2 .... no one fell off the stairs in between the 2 rooms, which surprised me big time ...:lol k i'll shut up now .. seeya next month guys :) |

 Coolness: 121040 | After getting lost a bit I finally found the place only to realise much later in the night that I was there before on a couple of occasions. I spent a good hour and a half inside and spent the rest of the evening chilling with Ariane outside.. it was just a bit too hot inside and the music was blazing outside so it was all good. I'm happy that some 'issues' were resolved and everything is back to normal. Nice seing everyone and I hope that this won't be the last event of this kind. Massive props to the IDJ posse for having that distinctive vibe at their parties. Zeev thanks for that joint bro ;) we gotta hook up more often.. my summer vacation is comming soon =). One love to all the peeps who showed up.

but a rewind happened later anyways .... nah i like emcees really, always liked 'em 2 ..especially my men Host One & Loco ... they give me shivers at times when i'm on .. Yep Maysr was with his dad pretty cool dad |

Chill a lil bit inside with charlie(who was sick) and after he left and i went with him to buy a drink to the depanneur and skated like a crazy to come back to the party. I spent the most of the night outside with eldee , playing aki with some random drunk dudes. bahaha it was awesome . But yeahh Dj Rue rocked. Eldee u totally made my night when u kicked the aki sac in one of those drunk dudes balls hahah :D Very nice chilling with u boy :P

 Coolness: 42220 | Trix said - Sick time! I thought TNT Junglist should have won and not just because he's a HE. Throwing scratches down was something else and he had presence in front of the crowd. He played with the half-tempo and brought the sound into places that Jungle doesn't go that often. TNT has Capital J in his scope (not to insult TNT). Rue played a lot of anthems and it was like a review of last summer's hits. Maybe Chicago is getting our hand-me-downs? She definitely deserved placement and I hope we'll see her again, but I don't know about winning.
Yeah... Except that four of Rue's tracks came out THIS WEEK. Actually, having lived in Chicago, I would say we get a lot of our shit a lot faster than you guys do out here. And thats strange having remarked that someone playing RAGGA should win because of his fresh track selection - FYI, ragga hasn't evolved since its insurrection. Rue didn't scratch or juggle like she usually does because it wasn't in the criterion. Now, that being said, TNT still threw down like mad. I really like him, but not for the reasons YOU said. And Galaksy - I am sorry for missing your set. I was mad tired, but I hear you are really talented. This was Rue's first time playing in front of a large audience...I think the beer and vodka before hand may have loosened her up. And Nimi - You were definately NOT missed once we realized you WEREN'T coming. Big fucking surprise. |
