 Coolness: 201335 | Since Bell decided to sabotage DSL for everyone, shopping for an ISP is difficult. I need to get a provider for my apartment but I'm not sure who to go for, which ISP's are people using and are they throttling traffic heavily? Videotron is out of the question because it is too expensive.
Not sure who to go for. |

I'm pretty pissed off about the lack of good options these days though... I thought the prices were a ripoff before the whole throttling issue. DSL means you probably have to go through Bell's system at some point and they are fucking with everyone now including third-party companies by throttling the connections (this is probably going to turn into a huge lawsuit against them but that takes forever to resolve). |

You'll get 2 months for free with Bell on any Internet package... Dont get 'Max', tho (Fiber Optics) its simply not worth the price. gamos, its the other way around. dsl is pure shit. every provider in quebec which will give you dsl goes trough bell, and every provider that gives cable internet goes trough videotron, there are only 2 networks in quebec, bell's and videotron. and satellite internet sucks ass. distributel offers 36.95 unlimited dw&up high speed 5.0mbps. but its still bell's network... |

I had the express before and i averaged 2 min per song, 9-11 min per set, 15 min for a episode of a show and about an hour for a movie. Myabe less depends on the torrent |
