JAMES , I don't have Logic cause, well, I don't have a Mac but I got Ableton Live but like I'm saying, don't know which is better to work with if you're NOT a seasoned producer. Oh by the way, I'm looking into doing stuff pretty damn similar to your PUSH REC+PLAY stuff (which is awesome btw). If you got any pointers for me, please PM me, I'd appreciate. Thanks y'all.

Weird, I'm sure you can still get a running copy of it from SOMEONE can't you?
I think Subtone is still on PC and he uses Logic Express. But you're right it is completely owned by Apple now. |

the last version of Logic that was made for PC was Logic 5, and that came out I think in 2002.

I don't remember having to ever even open the help file in reason, it's a pretty simple program.
I'm feeling gangsta right now.. |

i used logic 5 on p.c. for a few years.
unless you got a rippin' fast p.c. and a kick ass sound card it's probably not gunna run that great. kinda clumsy and not as user friendly as the recent mac versions either. honestly i wouldn't recomend it unless you are a real wiz with computers and audio software or are planning on buying a mac in the near future.
I'm feeling republican right now.. |

Mac all the way baby. Brraap!
for PC users Cubase SX and Abelton Live would be your best choice in this case |

I downloaded AL first and really like the interface. Hey, if I'm gonna be spend hours looking at that prog, I want it to be pleasing on the eyes.
I dunno if anyone here used Reason 4 extensively but I'm liking the automation display which apparently wasn't available in prior versions. I didn't have time to play in either one but I'll post my impressions of both when I do.
