Yeah, because cops or RCMP are completely flawless and perfect angels that never abuse their power or do anything illegal.

It would be wrong.

for your hiking if it isn't too late

there's a place in the Eastern township's called Ayer's Cliff. The town it's in is also goes by this name. It's somewhere between Magog and Coaticook.

I don't remember how long it took to get to the top. At least an hour if not a few hours but when you're at the top it's rewarding cause you get see over a dope lake and see into Vermont.

Also Ayer's Cliff is a straight drop!
It feels crazy to sit on the edge with your legs hanging off.

Well people are free to choose the path they want. If someone wants to go into a field where they enforce the law (even if they don't agree with it!), they shouldn't have had a past of breaking it. The crooked cops are probably the ones who lied on their applications.

But you ( nor do I )don't know if my friend ever broke the law or not, and you ( nor do I ) don't know on which questions he omitted the truth. The questionnaire doesn't just cover laws... it covers everything. He doesn't have a criminal record, so that's should be good. Logically, the application process isn't about to check if you were a sketchy dude in the past, it's a psychological test to see if you are ready for the duties RCMP requires of you.

It could be worst. It could be me joining the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) =)
