It's a mix intended for the radio, so it's a little loose, thematically glued together with samples from THX 1138, with an emphasis on analogue synth tracks, eventually building into some stomping material in the latter half.

Quebec Connection's first 12" EP from the "Bonjour Expo" album is slated for a Fall 2005 release through ProtoMusik Records, with extended electro-disco mixes, and hard-hitting reworks by [ www.globaldarkness.com ] Impact (Creme Organization) and [ www.thingstocome.com ] Horrorist (Things to Come). Destined to be a classic that will command the dancefloor with authority!

Sort of jumping the gun, but wanted to give you guys a heads up, as the remixes are pretty tight, and I'm just excited to have my first release on vinyl, fun medium!

i second the place milton reccomendation! right down the street from me, b-fast on the cheap, le solitaire with two eggs... oh, and a terrace in the back during the warmer climes!

Software: Mainly a combo of BuzzTracker, Acid, Abelton Live, and your usual and not-so-usual VST plugins!

The SAT Mix_Sessions welcomes an eclectic-electro night featuring Quebec Connection and Le Monochrome. Back from their mini-tour with David Kristian, they are prepped to deliver their vision of Musique Nordique; tieing together German and Dutch brands of electro to local homegrown talent, as well as digging into the past to pay homage to the analogue synthesis heroes of yesteryear.

Visuals will be generated by the Drone collective, who have developed their own real-time image processing software.

David Kristian continues his monthly DJ residency at the new and improved Laika (4040 St Laurent, Montreal) on Monday, February 28th, 2005. This upcoming live/selector set will feature Minimal morsels, live Bakemono bits, unreleased Kristian tracks, and of course, more dirty Dutch Electro.

David will be the first DJ to play the newly expanded Laika!
