The Sense Project is looking for ART!!

That's right, ART! The Sense Project, Head & Hands' peer-based sexual health program,

is celebrating its first-year of artful sex ed and peer education trainings with a

vernissage/silent auction from May23rd-27th at Snap Magazine headquarters (4064 St-

Laurent #1). The vernissage will feature sex ed videos, radio segments, testimonials by Sense

peer educators, animators and volunteers. So if you have a passion for sex ed and have some art

to donate let us know! All proceeds raised during this event will fund next year's peer education

training.

We are looking for:

-Photography

-Paintings

-Drawings

-Collages

-Sculptures

-Multi-media pieces

Suggested themes:

-Sexual health education

-HIV/AIDS and STIs (myth, stigma and reality)

-Youth and sexuality

-Youth empowerment

-Harm reduction

I had such a lovely time! The one and a half hour walk from the metro was well worth it..
The deco in the 2nd room was phenomenal, I was really impressed with the paintings.. Mightymike and Iznogood's set is definitely worth mentionning as well as Jungle/drumnbass and Max Benton (I don't know the other dj's name) in the morning... Essentially just repeating what Anne-Marie already stated :)

I love that venue, the music was good from start to finish.. Only thing I would suggest from a personal level is that I would've like to hear some jungle earlier and some dubstep later..

I thought the venue was pretty cool, definitely a different vibe, but isn't that the point? If you want the same cookie cutter fun then go to Opera. The punks amused me and were all really nice to me.. The only thing is I'm not hardcore enough for hardcore :(

Hey! To whom it may concern, I was out on a quest looking for a hair elastic at this party when...... someone lent me a black tuque! Due to non-soberness, I could not recall what this person looks like at the present moment, although I think he had long hair and was quite tall(considering I'm 5"1). I tried looking for him before leaving but couldn't find him.... If you are him or know him, please let me know :)
