The Sense Project is looking for ART!! That's right, ART! The Sense Project, Head & Hands' peer-based sexual health program, is celebrating its first-year of artful sex ed and peer education trainings with a vernissage/silent auction from May23rd-27th at Snap Magazine headquarters (4064 St- Laurent #1). The vernissage will feature sex ed videos, radio segments, testimonials by Sense peer educators, animators and volunteers. So if you have a passion for sex ed and have some art to donate let us know! All proceeds raised during this event will fund next year's peer education training. We are looking for: -Photography -Paintings -Drawings -Collages -Sculptures -Multi-media pieces Suggested themes: -Sexual health education -HIV/AIDS and STIs (myth, stigma and reality) -Youth and sexuality -Youth empowerment -Harm reduction -Sex positive -Queer issues (related to sexual health) -Trans issues (related to sexual health) -Safe sex -Anti-oppression and sexual health -Racial issues (related to sexual health) -Gender issues (related to sexual health) -Access to sexual health resources -Moral panic If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact me (annily.with.an.e@gmail.com or via here) for more information.
