yeah, i heard about it, apparently they buy them from SPCA's and stuff and use the meat and end up selling the fur right back to the states and telling them it's something else. all cheap fur (like the crap for hair pieces, the dollar store fur and for doll coats and things,) usually say it's rabbit or something, when really it's dog or cat -> so DON'T BUY fur "made in china"

and there's plently wrong with ice cream (except the taste *drools thinking of bubblegum ice cream*) but mcdonalds ice cream is really griany and nasty *shivers* i dunno i just don't like the taste (and god knows what's in it)

I just said what's in it. It's for the most part chemicals and at least 1/4 is a form of processed styrofoam.
And yeah, dog aparently is a delicasy in the asian countries, as is rat and pigeon. (Those 2 I know for certain aren't just urban legends)
But then again, fish assholes are also a delicasy in the russian area. Goddamn crazy foreigners. :P

oh jesus. *looks down* I don't get you people sometimes. Who cares where the meat came from, if it tastes good and doesnt do any harm, eat it. McDonalds products may containt whatever the fuck they put in it, but so what. It still tastes ok. It's not fattening. People say it is... i ate there four times last week and look at me, skinny as ever.

uhmm, it's not all that great tasting. And it's not fattening if you take from that new "light" menu. Eating fast food is only an alternative if I can't afford to go to a real restauraunt for a real hamburger or something else.

who cares where the meat came from? that is the most important part. i personally like to know what i am putting into my body and where it came from. yes some people are blessed to remain skinny even after numerous trips to mcdonalds but unfortunately most people don't have that fortune.

well said megan :) (i would have said exactly the same thing)
plus i'll add, that you'd have to have serious problems if you're looking for low fat food at McDonalds, you're better off eating elsewhere for lower fat better tasting foods.
and you really should care about what you eat, i mean your body is all you have for the rest of your life without you're dead. and even if you're staying skinny doens't by any means mean that you're healthy. and just coz you're skinny doens't mean it's low fat, it means you have a fast metabolism.

Wether YOU eat it or not, the animals are still gonna get tortured, they're still gonna get chopped up and their still gonna get eaten. A handfull of people that don't eat it aren't gonna stop them from doing it no matter how much you protest. It's like cigarettes or alcohol. Not everyone drinks or smokes, but you don't need 100% market saturation to make a profit.

yes animals will still die but at least you won't have that guilt on your conscience that you ate an animal that was brutally killed so you could eat when you could eat something else instead. there are more than a handful of people that don't eat meat but as the numbers grow the meat markets will feel the lower profits and maybe eventually change the animal living conditions.

or maybe look at some places that are changing their menus... alot of fast food places like burger kind, harveys and mc donalds now have vegitarian food(s0 on their menu's... not that im saying any of them are healthier or what not but none the less they are trying to get profits from the non meat eaters, even if its not in the healthiest of ways...

It's not so much a vegetarian menu as it is a "healthy" menu. It's because of that guy that's suing them because he "didn't know" that their food was unhealthy and fattening and he now has heart problems from eating at mcdonalds a lot.
It's not called caring about the people's health, it's called public relations.

i dont think it has to do with either, it has to do with how to make profit... im sure they could jsut pay off someone who wasnt satisfied or someone who got sick from their food.... its morwe of meeting the demand of the people...

creating a healthier choice menu for health conscious people or vegetarians is just a tactic to keep control of the fast food market. slowly people have been drifting away from fatty foods and this is just another way to suck them back in to keep their profit levels high.

more people are becoming health conscious but also, more people are becoming unhealthy. there are 2 extremes.

as for the cats, it is crazy talk, i know people eat the kitties but they must be crazy cause i could never eat a cat knowingly.
