For what i know,i would go a lot more at Stereo than fucking Circus.nothing to compare.I never really liked afterhours,but Stereo was bringing quality dj's for the one's who like this type of music. First time at Stereo I saw Mickey Finn I've also seen Myagi, Nick Warren, Adam Freeland, Lee Coombs, and a few other breakers up in that place! After hours in MTL will still bring out the dnb and breaks artists, but they do need to be BIG artists that will get the attention of the club goers. Shit look what PIknik did this year for both IGLOOFEST and PIKNIK ELECTRONIK this summer, topns of edgier EDM breaks / dnb / dubstep. Short term memories much? |

Just like Aria did their own thing and Circus does their own thing as well...But they don't have sound system that is known all over!!! |

That system is a beast, and I have seen some people totally rape it (in a bad way, not in a sexy fun kind of way). But towards the end the system needed some love and tweaking because it was lacking in bass power and the highs were hard on the ears. At the end, the sound wasn't very good. Especially when the pioneer mixer was on and some were not too friendly with the volume. But I am sure they will make it good again, it just needed some maintenance. Never understood why they didn't want to add a EQ unit in the booth instead of the pioneer.... |

| Coolness: 164895 | yeah being a dj is also about knowing a little bit about Eq and mastering since big venues will have compressor and stuff so if you dont understand it you will jack the volume and it will compress more and more so yeah its not just about playing tracks back-a-back |
