day seems to turn into night so slowly.
i look up to the sky and it's eternity.
i realize how much time has gone by me.

stare at the clock and listen to it tock,
grasp sand in my hand yet it keeps falling through
holding onto a string of the past longing it to last
though it has passed long ago i keep it clasped.

i never notice the days, they only accumulate.
