Where: KOBAU PARC, Cawston, Similkameen Valley BC

Description: Ciné-Action at Kobau Park (July 3rd, 10th, 17th and September 11th, 18th). Documentary films nights. Evenings will start at 18hrs with music, workshop presentation, a collective picnic and end with the movie presentation (we will start the movie after dark, around 9-10 o’clock).

We would like explore the possibility of selling local organic fruit juice (Worrenberg’s, Vialo, etc) and other local products, instead of chips and pops, at the park’s vending booth. The money would be shared between non-profit societies we want to support.

Revenant d'un voyage initiatique en Thailande, c'est en 1988 qu'Olli Wisdom enregistre ses premieres tracks pour partir ensuite vers Goa (Inde), ou il passera plus de 4 ans à les jouer dans les "full moon partys". Il fut le premier compositeur et dj goa trance en Autralie. En 1993, avec son frère Miki, il lance une compagnie de vêtements sous le nom de Space Tribe, qui est sans doute aujourd'hui la compagnie de vêtements psychédéliques la plus populaire au monde. En 1995, la premiere track de Space Tribe a été enregistrée en studio avec le légendaire Simon Posford aka Hallucinogen et Shpongle. Depuis, Olli est devenu une véritable figure emblématique de ce mouvement. Notre cher ami est de retour pour nous présenter une performance live de ses nouvelles tracks inédites et hautement psychédéliques, sans oublier quelques morceaux remixés qui ont marqué l'histoire. Préparez-vous à une expérience "full-on" inoubliable avec Space Tribe live.

BIOGRAPHIE : SPACE TRIBE.........Olli Wisdom, Originally from England, now living in the Rainforest near Byron Bay, Australia, has been a pioneer of Psychedelic Trance for many years. In the early 80s Olli was the singer in the theatrical Goth/Glam band "The Specimen", & ran the famous London goth club “ The Batcave “. After the band split up in 1986 Olli went traveling in Asia and in 1988 came to Koh Phangan in Thailand where he first encountered the fantastic electro-driven wild psychedelic parties on the beach. Instantly hooked, he immersed himself into the music and has never looked back. He stayed there for 2 years, DJing, and set up a small studio and making tracks for the parties, before moving to Goa, India. Over the next 4 years, Olli spent his time mostly in Goa, but now starting to travel around making parties in other places (San Francisco, Switzerland, UK, Japan), spreading the word and turning people on. In 1993, Olli, his brother Miki, and Richmond started Space Tribe clothing in Bali. The fractal fluoro party gear was an instant success, and now you can see it at parties all over the planet.

In 1995, the first Space Tribe tracks were hatched in the studio with Simon Posford (Hallucinogen/Sphongle), and everything flowed from there. Olli moved out to the rainforest in Byron Bay in Australia, and set up the Rainforest Space Base studio. Space Tribe released the first album, 'Sonic Mandala' on Spirit Zone in 1996, and since then Space Tribe has released at least an album a year. In 2004 Space Tribe Music was set up as a record label providing an out let for Space Tribe releases & compilation albums. Space Tribe are also making many tracks in collaboration with other artists – Including Absolum, Sirius Isness, X-Dream, GMS, Menog, CPU, Psywalker & especially Electric Universe, working under the name ESP. Olli is traveling all over the world, playing live at parties and bringing joy to the thousands of dancers who know exactly why they are there. Space Tribe parties have lifted the spirit and tweaked the synapses in Australia, Brazil, Japan, South Africa, Israel, America, Thailand, India, Ibiza, Bali, England, Germany, Hungary, Holland, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and many more places. From Burning Man to Voov Experience, from the mountains in Japan to the beach in Goa... Next party? Maybe on Sirius B!!!)

BIOGRAPHIE : NYSTAGMUS "Mouvement rapide et involontaire des yeux". Avec plusieurs sorties sur SunDance Records précédant son légendaire album "The immaculate perception" proclamé un des meilleurs albums de 2005 selon Psynews, Nystagmus s'est rapidement taillé une place sur la scène psytrance internationale. Sa musique combine des mélodies spatiales, des constructions ambiantes et de la transe psychédélique pour produire une expérience hallucinatoire unique.

The sound of Nystagmus is rooted in trance but in saying this takes away from the range of textures that he weaves into his music. c'est officiel, le concept des autobus va etre completement révolutionné l'année prochaine. Soyez assurés que ca nous a fait badtripper au plus haut point! Un des bus n'as jamais pu quitter montreal (prestone), et nous avion tres mal évalué le temps que ca prenait pour se rendre! Disons que maintenant nous savons tres bien a quoi s'attendre si on le refait labas lannée prochaine..... On a du tout faire avec le bus a Pete et 2 mini-vans...... ca a frolé l'impossible!!!.....

autrement, je suis encore sur le choc de cette fds de fous!
