i think the show will be a blast. the flyer design has been ready for a while, but i guess the coordinator for that city must be waiting to have all the final info double checked. have fun!

it's to work in coffee shops, behind the bar as cashier, server, bussing and all that type of stuff. it's for all locations... we're expanding big time and need people everywhere.

sharshar: did i not introduce you to marc-andre? he's my friend, and woodwater's cousin: he is from montreal. and yeah, his set was awesome, we should try and get him to play at parties... montreal needs more people like him.

vibe monkey: refreshing music! if it's not too much to ask, could u give me a track listing of what u played? there were a few songs i really enjoyed.

you see... this was a much better party than last weekend's (secret society) despite the same location and sound system.

less people> more room to breathe and dance

also, the people who took care of the sound knew what they were doing so the sound was sharp.

congrats thierry!

hey mat, nice to meet you @ bubblegum. as i said, no worries. i have my opinion, you have yours. nothing ever got accomplished by being complacent. and i do have faith in the scene in montreal, but when i see people getting confused (scene = $) i get bothered and i bitch.

hey trippin

how can you even begin to reply if you didn't even go!?

how am i an ignorant fuck?

the promoters of secret society have thrown parties before, and they can estimate how many people will show up by taking into consideration the date and the djs spinning at the party. it's not like you need to finish high school to be able to do that. every time i helped throw a party, we made sure there was "safe" room for everybody.

it's because of people like you that if you get cancer in quebec, you have to fly to the states to get it cured.

... fucking homeslice

you people are fucking pathetic. i'm copying and pasting directly from my review on memf:

"it was sold out when i got there, and it wasn't even very late... as a promoter, you should try and accomodate the demand for your parties. after dealing with the extremely friendly security i walked in and pulled some strings and finally got in (thanks ulric)

i wish i had done no efforts at all to go to this party. it took me a few minutes to realize that the best part to this party was the friendly security. 2 rooms: both disgustingly packed, no air to breath, sweat and @#%$ everywhere, sound was awful (hence i can't say much about the music/mixing itself) and absolutely boiling. the worse part is that i heard many people say this was an amazing party"

... so i was home by 4:30, where i could have thrown a better party by myself in my living room with my mom and sister.

and my dog.

if stupid fucking pathetic people like you encourage promoters such as these, the montreal rave scene will suffer. learn to bitch. assholes.

meh.

i copied and pasted my review from memf:

after bitching so much about this party, i decided to show up.... and it was all wrong!

this party simply sucked.

the track selection was the only passable thing. the sound was awful and it was cold everywhere.

and a big fuck off to the colored coordinators. you people definitely need a reality check. you need to take a good look around, and find out who your friends are.... i am absolutely disgusted with your childish behaviour.

if you don't know how to throw a party, don't throw one.

hooked was one of the best parties montreal has seen in a long time. i want to thank MIKE for it, and only him.

what's the point of some other people getting together a while after, gathering almost the same lineup, securing the same location and doing the party for the same reason?

i guess the most exciting part will be that i will not be there all messed up on drugs... cuz after all this is a substance free event! right?

this is wrong on so many levels.

you know kids, heads are not meant to be for hats.
