That was a nice party... but a little too hot :) Djs were in fire!! The place was pretty cool too. Bravo aux organisateurs. C'Est un des party ou jaurai le plus trippé cette année... L'ambiance était 100% underground. Pis si c'était pas de l'humidité pis des toilettes des filles.. :p ctait pas loin du party parfait!!!!! J'attend votre prochain :)

I can't form a coherent sentence right now, so I'll try my best.

Party was amazing! Hotter than Terra 2, also, if you can believe that! We had a pool in the mens bathroom that was rather nasty and murky-grey.

Music was amazing, everyone kicked ass! Great to see everyone there (I can't remember names right now, sorry, brain is on shut down)

Ben's set kicked ass! I love scratching.

Sweet ass party!!! I have to say that it was freaking hot. I have not sweated that much @ party in awhile. I liked the location. The music was sick from start to finish. I will say that Peter's set started my evening off great..huge props. Was great seeing lots of friends and meet some new ones.

The after party was chill and lots of fun.

you people are fucking pathetic. i'm copying and pasting directly from my review on memf:

"it was sold out when i got there, and it wasn't even very late... as a promoter, you should try and accomodate the demand for your parties. after dealing with the extremely friendly security i walked in and pulled some strings and finally got in (thanks ulric)

i wish i had done no efforts at all to go to this party. it took me a few minutes to realize that the best part to this party was the friendly security. 2 rooms: both disgustingly packed, no air to breath, sweat and @#%$ everywhere, sound was awful (hence i can't say much about the music/mixing itself) and absolutely boiling. the worse part is that i heard many people say this was an amazing party"

... so i was home by 4:30, where i could have thrown a better party by myself in my living room with my mom and sister.

and my dog.

if stupid fucking pathetic people like you encourage promoters such as these, the montreal rave scene will suffer. learn to bitch. assholes.

meh.

hahahaha.. that was the best post EVER..

he's right tho.. everyone always says "what a great party" to everything here.. well, its a good vibe, but for people like me who didn't attend the party, i like seeing both sides to the story. :)

WORD UP TCHANDRO

i think it really sucked.
i haved to agree with tchandro on this one...
i wasnt paying attention to the music cause i was too busy worrying about how hot it was..
the people seemed nice....it was nice and underground.. i got a whole bunch of "besoin quelque chose?/ speed, ecstassy?" which i havent heard in a while.....
i left at like 4 as well....anyone who lasted the whole night must have been either really fucked on drugs...or barely wearing anything.

there's a lot of dj sets that i really wanted to see but they were all at like 7 in the morning or after..so i figured fuck it. if there was better ventelation though it woulda been awesome..

well if you are fucked out of your mind on drugs a SPOON might be fucking amazing.

People should mention how much pills they were on at the beginning of their review before anyone takes it seriously!

i think ur the one thats pathetic... i didnt even go, i have no idea how hot it was or how bad the sound was... BUT if ur issue is the decline of the rave scene in montreal... Then you should bitch at ppl like ur self... its because of ignorant fucks like you going to a party with the wrong attitude. Can the promoters read the future? Can they forcast exactly how many ppl are going to show up? No of course not. Oh and im sure they forgot to make everything nice and comfortable for u, with a fan blowing right on you... and a little circle of safety cones around you just to make sure u have enough room to dance... but hey i took the time to figure out two solutions for you:
1)GET THE FUCK OUT OF MONTREAL
2)GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE RAVE SCENE

i had a real good time overall but I must say the main room was like a sauna. i loved alot of the music that was played, especially dj tyrant in the main room (great freeform), and pretty much all the dnb in the second room. LOADS of candyravers all over the place :) i got to meet mindset and pat, also was great to chill with lee, spooky, and everyone else !! what i loved about this party was looking across the sea of people and seeing everyone lost in the music. also a plus was going with two peeps from boston, who now live in montreal and this being there first rave here, seemed to really enjoy it.

here's my 2 cents:

no matter what kind of party it is, the promoter has to take responsibility for making sure the venue is safe. and when you have heat like that in a room full of people dancing, many of whom are on drugs, it is defintely not safe. as i meantioned that didnt stop me from having a good time, but i'd rather have a party cancelled than people being taken out in ambulances from heatstroke.

i totally agree that safety is first and it is the promoters responsability to make sure the venue is safe.. but like i said how is he/she supposed to geuss the future!!?? like how hot the room is going to be!!?? they supposed to bring in 500 kids the day before to have a test run? cmon now

Yo, straight-up. This party sucked Dooonk-aay Balls. If you thought this was a "REAL UNDERGROUND" rave then your a fuckin' moron.
First off there were 400 tickets sold, maximum capacity for The Rainbow is like 600 TOPS! They let in 700 in change. Secondly, MONEY MAIKIN', MONEY MAKIN'! Hey, I have tons of Hells Angels in my family so we can officially corrupt the so-called "Rave scene". They probably had enough money to even pay the damn cops off. Thirdly, little annoying pepper-ass dealers up in my face like they didn't just ask me three times before.
Sorry, this party by was one of my worst by faaarr simply due to the people who claim this as their Rave scene yet, It's turning into a Thievery Coorporation. Keep going guys! Soon enough Ray Junior will start having Drum and Bass at their parties.

BIG UP ALL MY JUNGLIST SELEKTAHZ; Corey, Guillaime, Seb, Ben:)

+ 2 the few who have stood their ground.(semen)
peace

Yeah, that one dealer was annoying. He must've asked me if I wanted anything at least 6 times. And I agree that no matter how much you dont want to turn people away at the door, you gotta put some kinda limit, especially when things are already hot inside. The party probably did make good money, but it basically lived up to what it was supposed to be. Promoters shouldnt be doing parties to make money, they should be doing parties for the sake of the music and the people who enjoy the music. But if a party is popular and does make money, in my opinion that helps the scene because no promoter can keep doing parties at a loss forever.
