My posse came out from Ottawa for this. Had a great time! Thanks for throwing the show, and bringing in some way-too-rarely represented music.

WAY TOO LOUD THOUGH, especially when the crowd cleared out later after Venetian Snares.

Keep up the good work, good beats, but please get a bigger venue next time! I wanna actually dance at these things. If I can't breakdance at least once at a party things just feel weird. :P

I definately know that Pymo rocked it.

It's near Ottawa. Just on the Quebec Side of the river, so drinking is +18 (With ID, no tollerence). There will be a shuttle bus leaving from Downtown Ottawa (Rideau & Cumberland) every 90m starting at approx. 8pm.

And if you're down with turntablism; Drastik, the three time Canadian DMC champ, will be doing a scratching showcase.!

I was definately supposed to go to the Ottawa component of this party, but I winded up blacking out drunk at a friend's appartment during a pre-drink that got a little rowdy and went a little late.

I'll make it out to your next event Rick. Hopefully some of those rough edges I heard about will be smoothed out the next time though! Live and learn. :)

It's been a while since Ottawa's had an event with this much support. On the local web board there are 200 toggles for the event and it is a month away ( [ xvi.com ] ). Ticket sales have been better than any other event I've been associated with before.

It's going to be totally off the chain. Huge variety in stuff going down.

Florida breaks are like nuschool breaks but significantly cooler. Picture DJ Icey on E kicking Tiesto in the face. Here's a random sample from Juno for a record on my wishlist: [ mp3.juno.co.uk ] Very good for in the morning, I'd like to see it phase out, or at least shake up, epic trance one day, as it's just that awesome. There's a lot of hoo-haw about what exactly the subgenre is and if it's even worth pigeon-holing like that, but I like that specific sound mixed in with a couple of others in the breakbeat world.

Heat wasn't unbearable if you were hydrated, yay cold water taps for that.

Favourite sets = D-Mise's extended set (For playing Luna-C's Angel song), and DJ Mad's. Promo's was pretty fun too.

Nawh, if we were *really* stealing your ideas, we'd just get a club like gravity and throw all of our raves in there every weekend.

The priest we signed the contract with was a really nice guy, and fully understood what he was getting his church into. If we catch anyone doing anything retardedly disrespectful, we'll be cutting their ribbons and having our security bar them from entering again.

We’ll also give them a good "What the fuck are you doing?" look while we're at it, and it'll make them feel real ashamed of themselves.

But seriously speaking, we expect people to be on their normal good behaviour, and respect the venue as what it is, a place of worship.

This is a little late, but I had a wicked time. Thanks for giving me the opening slot Doc. That pub crawl for Emm's birthday was an awesome idea, but I wanted to catch Milles Pattes set, especially considering that he started up with the always awesome 99 Red Balloons.

AC Slater was by far the best set of the night (that I caught) in my opinion. He kept me on the floor banging it from track one, through all his unreleased material, and straight through to the very end. That "Rave music" track is miiiiiiint!

Well done crew!

This party was sick. Just like exT said, first all night rave in Ottawa in a year. Went from 9:30pm-9:00am. Now that's the way to rave! :D
