Ok, always looking for new challenges, the trance head that I am has decided to produce a happy-hardcore song. I didn't find many resources on the Internet for HHC production, so I'm pretty much just listening to a bunch of songs to get the idea of what elements should be there. Any tips?

If you have Windows XP, we could use the "remote assistance" so I could show you how to do it. I did the same with a friend the other day. It's actually very easy.

I think Reason is a very powerful program and you people should really spend a few minutes and figure out how to use automation and the different routing options you get by hitting tab. It is what makes this program so flexible.

This Buzz thing looks pretty intereting, but I'm not a big fan of alpha versions of sketchy amateur third party add-ons that can crash my computer at any moment while I've been working on a song for 8 hours; which is what Buzz looks like to me. :)

Cool Edit Pro is very good for editing and multi-tracking. Wavelab is the champion when it comes to mastering because of the way you can chain plugins and hear them realtime to see how much you improved your sound quality. I guess a boxed copy of Soundforge would make a good doorstop.
